There is a train that runs behind the property. We heard it several times during the night. It shook the building a little.

Loved it!!

We have stayed at this hotel many times in recent years as a good stopping point between NC and lower FLA. It's clean, comfortable and reliable. The staff is friendly and responsive. The breakfast offers a good variety, even for people trying to eat Keto and/or low carb. Our only complaint is not a dealbreaker... but the train comes through several times a day and the whole hotel can feel it. But on this latest visit, it did not interrupt our sleep or wake us up! We will definitely stay here again.

The hotel staff was wonderful and very accommodating, the property was really clean inside and out, so i had nothing negative to say about the hotel. I would stay here again. However the family above our room had kids running and jumping around really early in the morning. I reason I didn't report it to the staff was because it was the last day of our stay. Besides that, we had a great few nights there.

A train track runs right next to the hotel property. I had a room facing the tracks. The train woke me up at least 5 times in the one night I spent here. Bad place for a hotel. Would not stay again.
