School 31 Lofts at Colors Studios

This hotel was incredible! We celebrated our anniversary with a stay here! The cleanliness level was immaculate and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay feel special—from the welcome message on the room chalkboard, to the complementary goodies and snacks left for us!—these personalized little touches were both generous and attentive. The staff was friendly and helpful and allowed us to check in early. The jacuzzi tub was such a cool feature! The movie projector and other automated technologies were user friendly and fun! The kitchen had everything we needed to make a celebratory meal. The property was in walking distance of great bars and local art gallery! 11/10 experience! I wish this business infinite success—we were so impressed! Stay here: you will not regret it! We will certainly be back!

Great space and enormous lofts! The mattress was very soft for our liking but overall exceptional for the cost

Hidden gem - room was so clean and well put together. Definitely worth the stay,

The Lofts are a great.concept that lack in execution. Remodeled school - classrooms are now spacious suites. Good bed, big TV. But too much feel of.living in an art installation - cracked plaster etc. And #1 peeve was a toilet in the corner of the main room with a sheer curtain for 'privacy!' Once the owners fix some details this will be very cool. Great area and restaurants etc.

The property was very well maintained. Staff was helpful when needed. Loved that everything was contactless and was able to arrive when we did and just go right to our room. Room was great and comfortable.

We loved our stay at School31. It was a beautiful and unique place. Just loved the room, it was clean and spacious and the decor was wonderful, love how they kept the feel of the old school. The staff was very helpful with questions we had and always available . We definitely will stay again if we come back to Rochester and would highly recommend.

Everything was great as usual, the jacuzzi was a little small.

This is by far a Beautiful place to stay!! It’s such a happy fun and very special to Us. It’s become Our tradition when we travel to Rochester we stay here because it’s just that great of a place. The Staff alone are incredible the area it’s located in the best part of town it’s of course clean, the soaking tubs alone the beds…I could go on and on stay and see why it becomes a TRADITION and not just a stay.

Our stay was excellent. Very cool place. Rooms were clean, private, and comfortable. Great stay!

Booked a room with a kitchen and a hot tub. Called to ask a question and they said the room I booked had a chemical smell they were trying to get rid of, so was switching to a similar type of room. I get there no kitchen, no Hot tub, just a smaller bath tub. The room had a huge hole in the ceiling as well.

Very cool concept and the room was terrific. Staff was great. Location is terrific. Parking was good and easy. Directions on accessing the hotel were clear and timely. Very nice stay. Would highly recommend.

Only drawback was that there was not an elevator. Also, the hot tub faucet and showerhead needed to be updated or tightened, very loose. Otherwise, very nice place to stay. Loved the free water bottles and chocolate.

What a unique special place to have a stay in Rochester. The staff went above, and beyond the room was clean and beautiful!
