One thing a lot of reviewers mention is ongoing problems with the public hot tub. This trip was no different as the public tub was offline for a pump issue. Not a huge deal for me as I had a jetted tub room. Everything was really nice except a few things in my room like a broken outlet plate and the seam between the wall and the jetted tub.

The USB ports in the room were broken and the several of the wall plugs were so loose that phone charger bricks barely stayed in.

Our stay here was short but nice. Breakfast was good. When we arrived, the system was down so we had to leave our room door ajar—or have one person stay behind—when moving our belongings in and out of our rooms. Since we arrived super late at night, we also had to be buzzed in to enter the building. However, to her credit, the amazing woman at the front desk helped us to our rooms and offered to help carry our things up. Her kindness made the minor inconvenience hardly an issue, and we appreciate her thoughtfulness.

The staff at the hotel and Old Chicago are pleasant. My room was clean. I was happy that I could cast my phone to the TV. A good place to stay.
