Riverview Inn & Suites, an Ascend Collection Hotel

It was a clean hotel. My room was good. The only issue which didn’t bother me but the paint above the shower was drooping down. The rooms have high ceilings. The pool and exercise room have to be requested to use at the desk.

Excellent, I definitely would reserve again

Staff were very helpful and friendly. The room looked clean but had an odor. The heater probably had not run for a long time so it made odor really bad.

This was an unexpected building. It had beautiful ornate dark wood inside. A lot of detail. The room was nice and clean and comfortable . Breakfast was just ok.

Very clean and spacious room. This was a last minute trip so I booked the best deal and hoped for the best. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it was! I will definitely choose this location when attending Rockford events.

A hotel with a view of the river. Clean room, air condition/heat. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was good. Friendly staff.

Guy at the reception was very nice Facilities quite dated, carpet in room was stained, sofa was dirty. What's the point of paying premium for a larger room with a sofa you can't sit on because is creepy? At night I woke up with several flea bite bumps on my legs and arms, I could not sleep the rest of the night. It was gross. I hope these were just fleas and bed bugs. This was room 320. This was the worst value for the money room ever.

Do not stay here. The room is extremely filthy and there are bugs

Breakfast Dogs barking all night and the pool

Breakfast was much better than average with scrambled eggs, sausage links and potatoes and some cereal and bread choices. Setting is very nice. Dinner was a little disappointing with only 4 entries and one (sirloin steak) was unavailable along with some apps. Too many vegan options and slow service even though few people in the restaurant. Two of our dresser drawers opened by themselves when you walked across the floor of our room. Quiet and pretty setting for the hotel.

Understaffed over night allowed late night party next door till after 3AM. 1st call for help from the front desk at 2 AM.

The pool was closed for a random reason There were no luggage carts when we got there or when we went to leave

Hidden gem in Rockford - no one local seems to know they are back taking guests but we had a great room, gorgeous view and were treated so kindly by all staff.

Loved the room, it was big with lots of room. Loved the big clean shower. Shower had great water pressure. They do have an elevator,but that is slow. I used the stairs most of the time. The stairs though could use some cleaning. Lots of closed down stores near by so it made me nervous at first. View of the river was great.

Amanda the guest services was very kind and accommodating with extra toiletries and directions. Great view overlooking river too.
