Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Detroit Metro Airport Romulus

Best budget aeroport hotel with free shuttle we find in a rush. (Delied flight) Clean room , well maintained property and medium noise from airport, recomand ear plugs. We didn't have time for breakfast but coffee was good. Heating function on AC didn't work.

I was on the lower level and very loud noisy didn't rest well.

All was great

Hotel was convenient to airport and to restaurants. We had to wait for 45 minutes for a shuttle pick up to take us from the airport to the hotel after they had told us it would be a 10 minute wait.

Very close to the park and ride

Breakfast was poor - Had to request as every thing was empty. This was a 1/2 hour before close. The shower - low Pressure

Location was great, cleanliness and staff was very nice and professional. Didn’t have a problem with anything.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and the hotel is right outside the entrance of Qwik Park so it’s very convenient. Pillows could be more comfortable and I would have liked body lotion as an amenity

Decent place for a quick stay near the airport to make an early morning flight easier at the Detroit airport. Nothing fancy, but does the job for a decent price.

A little snafu with my reservation when we arrived at the hotel. There was a person that arranged to leave late and was still in room when we arrived. Hotel gave us another room. I made the reservation back in April and it listed a pool and hot tub and when we arrived these were no longer available and removed from their web site. I wish I had double checked the amenities list again prior to leaving on the trip. A pool would have been so nice since the weather was in the 80's.

Missed it

While the staff was friendly the property was not clean. The lid of our ice bucket had mold on it. There were boogers or phlegm on the wall above the bed which we reported to the front desk.
