Fossil Creek Hotel And Suites

Great place and great trip. The people are helpful and extremely kind and nice.

My room was spacious and clean. Service at the hotel was very sparse. I never saw an employee after checking in. Most of the breakfast items had run out by 8 am. I looked again before I checked out, a little before 9, and nothing had been restocked. So despite not having high expectations for breakfast, they still managed to disappoint me.

Rooms and bathroom were clean. Beds comfortable. Breakfast was bland. What do you expect for a free breakfast at an overnight hotel.

Everything was clean. We didn’t use the pool. The hotel seemed nice. I only saw staff when I checked in but didn’t need assistance with anything.

The staff was very helpful and even brought us towels pool-side. The hot tub, pool, and especially sauna were so restorative. Breakfast was very good. The air conditioner in our room made weird noises. I even got up to check whether my son was breathing heavily in his sleep. Also, most of the fixtures and things were pretty old and could use a refresh.

The guy was super friendly. I got a room and checked for bed bugs like I do for all hotel rooms. I went to bed because it was super late. I woke up in the morning further inspection. My sheets had a stain on it and the shower curtain was dirty. The room kind of smelled like sweat. Other than that, the bed was pretty comfortable.

Was great! Loved the room setup. Breakfast was ok, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy….

A very nice place to stay on a road trip. Easy check in. Fine breakfast and easy check out. The room was a bit musty, but clean.

Room , bathroom, and kitchen/breakfast area clean. I wouldn’t book another stay.

I’ve stayed at this property 20+ times over the past decade. The new ownership has no business running this place. There was literally no one at the front desk when we arrived though they showed up 2 or 3 minutes later, but there was absolutely no one at the front desk when we left. I went down twice. No hot breakfast foods were stocked in the steam tables. I will never return.

My room didn’t have a phone or a clock/radio, so I couldn’t request a wake-up time or set an alarm.

Clean and cotton linens is the only plus about this 2nd dlsmtay here

Well maintained

We were on our way from Lawrence to Steamboat Springs and were pleasantly surprised with how nice the property was for the price. An excellent value and we would stay again for sure!

The breakfast ends at 9:00 am, the selection was minimal. The hotel could use a deep cleaning.

The front desk staff went above and beyond to help when we arrived early for a wedding. They allowed us to use a room to change in since ours was not ready. Very thankful for their hospitality.
