Embassy Suites By Hilton St Augustine Beach-Oceanfront Resort

Great location. Several restaurants within walking distance. Free daytime shuttle to downtown St. Augustine. Large pool with pool toys available. Common areas were blocked off for a private event one night. High cost for the valet parking. Pictures advertised for selected room showed a bathtub but we had a shower.

True beach front - really the only hotel with beach views while at the pool. Nice bar hotel. The AC was great! The beds were okay. They were kind of hard in comparison to other major hotels. The suite furniture was hard too. Valet parking only. The valets were great but $42/day.

The pool was amazing. Direct access to the beach was convenient. The rooms were clean, some wear and tear but that’s it. Housekeeping was friendly and came by to restock towels and things daily. The free breakfast. We book through a third party and wasn’t aware that we had to pay daily for the valet services until after check out.

Had a great time! The restaurant was good, and so was the jacuzzi.

The room, bathroom all good. Beach was a beach! No lifeguard, though, and that gave me some concern as I watched a dad with several small children jumping into the waves, one little girl was off from the others. *I liked the convenience of the restaurant being on property. customer service needs work. I booked through Booking.com and requested a room closer to the elevator. I've had 6 surgeries on my knee and there's ONLY 1 ELEVATOR for such a large property. Sent us to 288. LONG walk. I wanted to save my "walking" for the beach. I called from that room and said I had requested a room closer to the elevator, and whoever answered said too quickly "there's nothing in the notes about that". She said room 240 had a balcony overlooking the beach, it has a balcony overlooking the atrium. I sent Janinna the 2 emails from Booking.com, 1 a request for the room closer to the elevator, and the other confirming the request from the hotel. She was off yesterday when we were checking out. The woman that checked us out was abrupt, and not up to Hilton standards. I even said to her "why didn't you ask if we enjoyed our stay" BLANK STARE. without using curse words (they sometimes prove the point better) she didn't give a damn. I don't often get to a beach resort to relax. My experience from start to finish sucked. I would like to hear from management.

Pool. Beach. Room. Mandatory valet parking. Breakfast had variety but the food was not very good. Restaurant food quality not good for the price.

The included breakfast and evening cocktail hour are terrific!

Drinks were awfully expensive. Valet parking was not worth it as we never moved our car.

The HVAC system was extremely loud every time it turned on.

The room we had was really nice. It was a king bed/studio. Pretty big with a huge deck overlooking the ocean. Nice pool, nice chairs, pool bar.

Overall, the hotel has some nice features, but the service affected my experience enough that I would not stay here again.

The staff was very friendly, the grounds was beautiful, the room was very clean and the resort as a whole was very nice and clean.

The staff was amazing and so was the room. The view we had was breath taking. This hotel was clean and tidy through out. The pool area clean and kept nice. And the view from the pool amazing as well. Nothing we loved our stay here.

We love it here. Came back 2 years in a row and certainly will again. Pristine beautiful and so well kept
