Close to where we needed to be The fact that we were not notified that the pool had been taken out permanently about 4 months ago! We had our kids crying just for the fact that we told them we could go swimming once our days were completed. They brought floaties and swimsuits just for this high light of the day..

I had a cooling issue with my room and when i complained, the staff gave me an extra room to sleep in since there was no maintenance personnel on duty when the complain was made. I booked about 5 rooms for our guests for my wife’s graduation and everyone had nothing but good things to say about this place.

Room was clean, cozy.

Location, and the fact you can only get in with key card Our first room reeked of cigarettes, we got switched to the same room, one floor up. There were stains and crumbs on the beds. The carpet felt wet and it still had a weird smell. Valet was no where to be found when we arrived. We waited for 20 minutes till he came. It just didn't feel very clean.

I prefer Hilton-managed properties for the cleanliness and being pet-friendly. The hotel was both for most of the stay. The room was cleaned daily which is a huge perk from some of their other properties I’ve stayed in. The staff was fantastic. Only issue was my room being a bit shoddy, the kitchenette lights didnt work. They had paper stuffed in one of the canned lights. The room layout for the ‘extra’ king is not worth the extra cost. The ac struggled to keep the room cool.

Close to river walk and the Alamo. Bed was comfortable and staff friendly. Valet parking plus. Room would not cool lower than 71 and I like it cold at night. The complimentary 24 hour coffee station had cold coffee that night: During the day there was constant jack hammering and construction noises going on and glad we were leaving at 11:00. There was also an alarm and evacuation because someone burnt the toast for breakfast! Overall very disappointed for the price I paid: I would recommend letting customers know before they book that this is an ongoing construction site.

Air conditioner was not strong at 5 fl (last, corner unit), but outside was 100F.
