The Dana on Mission Bay

The room was very clean and had a lovely patio for us to sit out and look out over the beautiful grounds. The landscaping is fantastic and the location is serene. I would suggest looking over several booking sources prior to making a reservation, however. When I called the hotel directly, they gave me one rate for what they said was their last remaining room and then I see that exact same room still for sale on Expedia for substantially less per night. Also be aware that if you want to check out after 12 noon they wanna charge a late checkout fee. I felt that was rather unfriendly. Other than that, this is a beautiful resort and you will have a wonderful time.

This is the second time staying at this hotel. The rooms are always clean the beds are comfortable. Its close to the beach and Sea World. The kids love the movie at the pool. We will definitely make this our place to stay while in San Diego.

Our bathroom had a giant roach in it. It was disgusting.

We stayed here for our wedding night and again for our babymoon. Our wedding night was absolutely amazing we had a room with a massive walk in shower and beautiful view. Our babymoon room was ok. Tiny bathtub shower with a really crappy shower head and very little water pressure. View still amazing and staff very friendly. Wish I could figure out which room I stayed in before so I can have a walk in shower instead of grandmas tub from the 80s next time.

It is a great place to stay. Very good location to visit a lot of places. Breakfast was great and the gift shop had great coffee. The rooms were nice and spacious and clean. The grounds were very nice to take a walk. I definitely work stay there again

home away from home

The room size was great..we had a room with a large balcony. The pool and restaurant area was very pretty and the food and service really good. The croissants we could buy in the morning to take up to our room. Location was very convenient for our needs. I also liked being able to walk in the morning along the pathway near the marina and across to the restaurants on the other side of Mission Bay Rd. The parking situation wasn’t great…the spaces were very small, the $35 a night was high especially since it was hard to find a space anywhere close to our room.

The property was very nice. The room was big and had a little kitchenette area. The beds were not very comfortable. They were a little "springy". The pools and hot tub were nice and the hotel was quiet. Overall a nice place. With a nice view.

The outside pool bar and hair tub with games, movies, great food and amazing drinks. It's paradise in

Clean rooms. Decent layout with beds. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom setup. Sink located in hallway by door. If you wanted to use their lotion, you were stuck in this area. Could hear neighbors both next door and above.

The room was clean. Bed comfortable. View was lovely. The shower water pressure could use improvement. It was too slow for me. We enjoyed the tropical pool. It was relaxing. Would stay again.

Our room was very small, smelled musty and the AC was loud
