We loved the vibe all-around.
-
Room was clean and updated, just some issues with noise. Food was not good at all onsite but the historic property was well kept.
-
The place is beautiful. Lots of attention to detail. I just had a hard time with bed pillows. Just too soft and flat.
-
Amazing weekend getaway! Stunning property and beautifully designed including fine art throughout. Food was delicious, cocktails masterful, bed heavenly. We will go back every year because it was just that special. We've traveled all over the world, this hotel checks all the boxes a person could possibly want. Amazing place.

Hayes Mansion has seen better days. It is kind of expected being an old mansion that was renovated into a hotel. The grounds are well-kept as are the main rooms of the hotel. The breakfast is very good for the money and the waiters are very responsive. They appear to have regular conferences at the hotel although the parking is a little cramped and the setup can get In the way of other residents. Not obvious how to get help unloading the car. There appears to be one ramp for people (like me) with a scooter/wheelchair and (I think) one elevator per building. I had to climb stairs to get to the lobby initially. Rooms were good but housekeeping/maintenance standards could be improved. We had room changed -- first room lighting was dark. We had sheets changed due to dirtiness after sheets had just been changed that day -- housekeeper found set she brought was also dirty. Battery powered makeup mirror was dead in first room and quickly died in second room. One manager worked with us -- one didn't. Disappointing...

Had to pay $22/day for parking, finding a spot to park was challenging. Breakfast buffet was just “ok” and cost $80. Had to pay for WiFi. Staff was VERY kind.

Disappointing Stay — Unresponsive Staff, Even for Hilton Honors Members To: Hilton and Heyes Management. (see related event below-same disappointing experience) Booked a 500+ sq ft suite for the first night of the newly married couple. Paid upfront using my Hilton Honors credentials and credit card; checked in and received room keys. Told staff it was their first night — those dullards did NOTHING to make it special. On top of that, the couple had to check in again closer to midnight. No courtesy extras were thrown in. The front desk ladies said they would ask their sales managers for any extras — then came back and said nothing extra is being offered. Not even a courtesy breakfast on the house. Are they so insensitive?? Bottom Line Premium rates demand premium service. Your unresponsiveness and lack of basic hospitality directly cost you our event business. 600 guest wedding banquet moved ELSEWHERE .. Hilton and Heyes — please take note. +++++ Disappointing Stay — Unresponsive Staff, Even for Hilton Honors Members To: Hilton and Heyes Management Incident 1 — During Our Daughter’s Wedding Unresponsive staff throughout our stay — even as Hilton Honors members. **To:** Hilton and Heyes Management - Unresponsive staff throughout this episode — even as Hilton Honors members. - Had to call multiple times and visit in person during our daughter’s wedding just to resolve simple transactions. - We paid premium prices but received not even basic courtesy. - No proactive effort to make guests feel welcomed or cherished. - The same poor experience happened on another reservation. - As a result, we moved our 600-guest wedding reception - elsewhere. Bottom line: Premium rates demand premium service. Your unresponsiveness directly cost you our event business. **Hilton and Heyes — please take note.**

We stood Labor Day weekend, Sunday through Tuesday and Tuesday morning at 7:15 for about one hour. They had the leaf blower going right outside the rooms made it a little difficult to sleep in. On Monday, the Labor Day, we were all out at the pool. There was a lot of people at the pool and nobody ever came to refill the towels. We had to go all the way back to our room to grab a towel for the day. When we checked out on Tuesday, we called the front desk to request a luggage cart. We waited for about 30 minutes. A luggage luggage cart never came when we walked past housekeeping they told us they only had one and that it was being used across the property however we waited for 30 minutes and that was never communicated to us.
