Comfort Inn Santa Fe South

It was a nice enough room, but nowhere near as nice as the Comfort Inn in Oklahoma City that we had just come from. It was also almost 3x the price, so that was a little annoying. Having access to a jacuzzi after a long day of travelling was very welcome. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I will make special mention of a good breakfast with the most delicious bacon that I have had in some time. The price of the room relative to other Comfort Inns that I have stayed at. Although it was a good price relative to other hotels in Santa Fe that also sported bloated prices.

Room was clean and comfortable. The price of the room was rather high. There were no wash cloths in the room. The breakfast was just passable.

Found it easily off the highway, within driving distance to restaurants

The breakfast was very good and staff serving the breakfast were amazing! They were prompt and kept everyone happy, even with a ton of people there.

The location was quiet.

Rooms are decent, amenities are okay, and staff was nice, breakfast was this hotel’s downfall as we’re pretty positive that the batter that was out to make waffles with was spoiled and tasted sour, rubbery eggs, and stale bagels so wouldn’t recommend eating the complimentary breakfast.

Bathtub drain was clogged. Vanity light flickered. When I told the front desk, I just got a shrug.

The bed was comfortable. This is an old hotel that they keep patching up here and there. The age is showing and no real effort to bring it into current needs. There was not a single usb or usb-c connection in the room. I felt completely outraged at the price I paid per night for such a dismal property. DO NOT STAY!

Very poor

Very expensive, the room was small, and hot water did not last.

Breakfast was good. Staff was really overwhelmed by a huge crowd one day but did as good as they could. Big family checking in when we arrived so waited in line about 20 minutes even though we had reservations and those in front of us did not. Several guest we met on the elevator were totally confused because there was no 2nd floor button which was the main floor and exit. Once we pressed LOBBY and the elevator did not move so we exited and took the stairs. Vending machine had melted candy and took out money. The front desk was advised and no sign put up that the machine was out of order. We did that ourselves after losing over $3. We also called the repair number on the machine. Ice machine on 3rd floor not working at all. Rooms were okay for short stay, nothing spectacular for the price. Not the hotel's fault but the entrance was a little difficult because of the city's permanently blocked turn lane right before the entrance. Would not stay there again for the price and strange traffic configuration to enter and exit. Did not use the pool but looked okay, lots of people using it (the big family).
