Too many events going on (weddings, gala) which negatively impact access to the pool and other immenities as well as service quality.

The property is well maintained and one rarely has to open a door as the door staff is dutiful and courteous. The food and drink are outstanding and the general appearance and comfort provided by the rooms is top notch. Would be great to have a couple hooks in the bathroom/hallway for coats and towels and wet clothing, but aside from that the accommodations were great. The one thing we recommend to any visitor is to decline room 101, 102, 103 or 104. We were assigned to room 102, which had a large window bay overlooking the park. We really enjoyed gazing over the park, watching the sun set, just the ambiance it created right outside out window. But we did not enjoy nor appreciate that room 101 is used as a staff room, across from the rear door of the managers area and adjacent to the baggage storage room. Every night the doors slammed repeatedly, thereby negatively impacting our sleep. Presumably the staff was aware of our presence but apparently just didn't care. If you're going to pass through those doors after 10 pm with hotel guests possibly resting nearby, close the doors quietly. This was really disappointing from such a high end property, and probably not something at issue for 95% of the rooms... but if they assign you 101-104, definitely decline.

Had a wonderful time at hotel Bardo. Our AC wasn’t working in our unit, got upgraded to a beautiful suite overlooking pool. Thank you for taking care of us. Had an amazing dining experience at Saint Bibiana. Jesse the bartender made wonderful recommendations and it was all delicious.

Cool vibe in a beautiful city! The bonus is the atmosphere around the pool. All the community spaces lend themselves to mingling and comfort. Their restaurant, St Bibiana is AMAZING. If you can’t get a reservations then guests have access to the bar/club upstairs which we enjoyed even more!

I saw your ad on Facebook and I thought it would be such a nice way to spend our 65th birthdays and it did not disappoint. It was very upscale everyone was nice and it was a great location. The young lady at the pool they gave out the towels made me feel very welcomed, and the young lady that served us was very attentive. The young man that drove us around in the house car was very respectful, friendly and informative. We did have food and a drink at the bar inside when we first got there and the food was very good it just wasn’t hot like we would have like.

Loved it here so much!! The people opening the doors were so nice at the front and the check in staff was amazing! We had an issue with the AC but they did the best they could to fix it.

The staff was exceptional throughout our stay. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure guests had a wonderful experience. Their hospitality truly set this hotel apart. The restaurants were outstanding, offering delicious food, creative menus, and excellent service. Every meal felt like a special occasion. The amenities throughout the hotel are top-notch and thoughtfully designed, creating a perfect balance of comfort and elegance. We appreciated the attention to detail in every aspect of the property. The location is another major highlight. Many of Savannah's best restaurants, shops, historic sites, and attractions are within walking distance, making it easy to explore the city without needing a car. Hotel Bardo perfectly combines luxury, comfort, exceptional dining, and outstanding service. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Savannah. A true five-star experience from start to finish! 🌟

The layout is well designed. The rooms are spacious and scream luxury. From the moment that you walk in, you know that you are in for a great stay. If you're staying for a weekend and want to visit the spa, my only recommendation would be to book your spa visit ahead of your stay. I really hate that I was unable to experience their body scrub. The small touches meant a lot i.e. complimentary car service, bike rental, board games at the pool, and fitness classes just to name a few. Less than 30 minutes from the airport and situated perfectly, you won't be disappointed by the experience Hotel Bardo has to offer.
