Perry Lane Hotel, A Luxury Collection Hotel, Savannah

Everything about this hotel was absolutely amazing. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Precious at the front desk was great, very attentive and welcoming. A shout out to the valet guys as well, very friendly. Roof top bar is absolutely beautiful and a must right around sunset. They welcome you with a glass of champagne which is a nice welcome after a long day of traveling. Amazing place, will definitely stay here next time.

Great hotel in perfect location. River streets too touristy. This hotel is an oasis near everything. And such a helpful staff. Coffee in the morning is free in the lobby bar if you don’t order a special coffee!!!

Outdoor rooftop pool was a big plus to relax after touring all day. Location is close to the action and in walking distance but not immediately in the bar neighborhoods so that worked well for me. The staff was friendly and helpful when I asked for recommendations. Would definitely stay again.

This is so close to being a great hotel, and the staff were really nice. But the strong musty/mold/mildew smell in all the hallways and rooms (coming from the carpet I think) is a HUGE negative. Also, the rooms could use some updating from the standpoint of modern conveniences — in particular, the limited number of outlets in the room was a bother. Strong food/beverage program and great location and nice staff, but they have some work to do to really be a proper luxury property.

Both stays had the same issue: a strong mildew/musty odor. The hallways were heavily pumped with an overpowering fragrance that seemed intended to mask the underlying odor rather than address it. Our room carpet also smelled like feet. Guests should know this is a pet-friendly hotel, something I wish I had considered before booking. The property itself needs attention. Our shower curtain rod was completely rusted, the ironing board was broken, and the AC malfunctioned and repeatedly turned itself back on. Heavy doors slam loudly throughout the hallways. Housekeeping also entered our room despite a Do Not Disturb sign. During my second stay, I was placed in an ADA room despite the rate I paid, with a view directly into an unattractive alley with dirty trash cans. Valet parking is expensive, and I once waited approximately 45 minutes for my vehicle with so little communication that I genuinely thought it had been lost. My Expedia VIP benefits were not honored either. The staff was generally respectful and helpful, but the hotel felt overcrowded and offered very little to justify its cost. This was simply not the luxury experience I paid for.

Best stay at a hotel in a long time. Rooms spacious and clean. Location perfect. Outstanding staff. Perfect stay in Savannah, GA. Thanks a lot!!

Amazing hotel, staff are very professional and helpful - true southerners hospitality. Sadly, the hotel has a very strong mildew smell which they try to mask with excessive and unpleasant aromatics and on each floor. The carpets within our room need to be fully changed, it smelt horrible when walked upon, like sweaty athletes feet.

This hotel was absolutely amazing!!! Don’t think twice. Unlimited coffee and champagne, what more could you ask for? The beds and shower are exceptional. Car service, happy hour, it’s like a slice of heaven in Savannah! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
