Very nice hotel and close to the hospital. Wonderful and caring staff

The breakfast cook woman yelled at me when I was getting breakfast accused me of taking food before I even got my food. Little did she know I had permission already. She stalked me staring it was uncomfortable

Hot tub was not working, 11 dollars for typical breakfast that is usually free.

The room was very spacious and clean, including a large bathroom. The bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean, and I slept very well. The room was well stocked with towels, shampoo, and shower gel, and the pool area was pleasant. The woman working the breakfast area was absolutely wonderful and provided the warmest customer service of my stay. The bathroom had some frustrating design issues. The faucet was so short that the water ran almost directly against the side of the sink, and despite having the shower curtain completely closed, water ended up all over the bathroom floor. I had to put towels down so I wasn’t stepping in water while getting ready. I also would have appreciated a mini snack bar. Breakfast was $11 per person, which I didn’t find worth the price considering the selection and quality. While I was eating outside, a cleaning employee repeatedly dragged lounge chairs around the pool area, which made it difficult to enjoy a few quiet minutes. I also noticed a cigarette butt on the ground. My biggest disappointment, however, was the inconsistent customer service. One receptionist looked directly at me when I said good morning and didn’t acknowledge me at all, and later did the same when I wished the staff a good day. Checkout was easy, but better communication regarding the deposit would also have been appreciated.

Deplorable.

Upon check in there was a cockroach that entered our room. We immediately checked out, & had to find a different hotel.

I often stay here for work when I travel to Scottsdale. The stuff is great, and the hotel is nice overall

Though the property was a distance from our tournament the price and quality of the rooms was worth the stay. Quite and clean entry ways with working elevators. Swimming pool was clean and just right size. Gym had all the equipment.

We checked in with the manager of the hotel , who advised us during our 3 night stay if we wanted room service to give the front desk a call and they would send someone. The day before check out we asked for room service and lo and behold the manager states they needed a 24 hour in advance notice. Which wasn’t explained to us at check in so our room never got cleaned. I advised him that we saw a cleaning lady in the hall who advised she would clean our room and when I brought that up to the manager he laughed and said they don’t speak English so she probably didn’t understand me . The hotel carpet was a bit dirty but overall the amenities were great . I will never stay here again as unprofessional as the manager was he never apologized but instead blamed me for not calling previous and by the way it was a storm and their phones weren’t working for 2 of the 3 days . Shame on you Best Western your customer service was horrible and I will not ever book at any of your hotels again.

The best part of the hotel was the pool. There was a lot of wear and tear on the overall property. Ceilings were broken or leaking in the main lobby area. The ice machines were not functioning the best. One of the Second floor ice machines was leaking the entire time. Plenty of workers observed and were present and did not fix this leak. Instead random towels were laid on the ground soaking water but not helping. The leak was so bad it started to flow into the hallway carpet causing a disgusting Mildew smell. Carpets in general were not as clean as they could or should be. Rooms were made up each day but the quality of the cleaning was questionable. We received towels that were not cleaned well and had unknown red stains on them that we noticed as soon as we took them off the rack. the bathroom sink is also set up very strange. The water is so far from the sink that it wets the entire counter top while you’re trying to use it. Front desk workers were responsive and again the pool was nice but this did not meet our expectations.

I made the reservation for my daughter who ended up in hospital and was unable to keep the reservation. I tried to cancel a few hours before check in so I get that I guess, but they would not even refund the second night which they knew about ahead of time. There are lots of good hotels in the area, I wont try this one again.

Clean neat property near the 101 and Shea for easy movement around Phoenix Metro area.

My room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. I really enjoyed the pool area; nicer than I expected. The area felt safe with some shopping options and many restaurants to choose from.

No hot water. Sketchy elevator needs service. Room was not vacuumed, I take my shoes off when I enter a room and I stepped on goatheads on the far side of the bed. Found hair that was not mine in the bed . Low confidence the linen was changed . Broken toilet paper holder . Cleanable Stain mark on chair looks like chocolate or something . TV signal was out the second night, didn’t feel like bothering to ask for help . Room key was deactivated after my first night when I had a two night stay. When I went to front desk to inquire about my room key , no one was to be found . I waited 5 mins before going outside and found multiple young employees smoking outside . One came to the front to help me with my key and when I asked why it happened , they said sometimes they enter it in the computer as one night . Which didn’t make sense to me. I would never stay here again . And don’t recommend anyone else to either . One or 2 kinks is fine but this was a less than desirable stay
