Exceptional

Their was a stain as big as Montana that was still wet and was discoloring the carpet. The first night we were smelling the chemical so we thought the odor dissipated but by morning my daughter was sick and disgusted. The minute we got done with our appointment we contacted the hotel and said we needed to switch rooms. They accommodated us. We were too tired to go out and eat and decided to order a Couple burgers from room service. No ketchup, mustard or mayo (no condiments were brought with the food. They brought the food in these chipped plastic containers that you might see in a prison or hospital. $200 dollars later — We showered and called it a night. The air conditioning for the room must have been a swamp cooler, because the room never got cold, humid, and musty.

It’s a stunning property , very peaceful and serene and the rooms are so big and comfortable Staff did not clean up the bugs that were piling up in my room when asked

There's little they can do about the weather.

This is a wonderful place to stay with individual, spread-out bungalows. The staff was top rate. 2 of the pools are public – one adults only and one a family pool. The 3rd swimming pool is private for RETREAT patrons only. You don't see a lot of staff, but when we called the front desk we received anything we needed rather quickly. The food was excellent. It was a great place to stay! And very well located.

The private pool had floats, we had servers and the pool to ourselves for a whole afternoon, wow! The grounds were beautifully maintained and they greeted us with a warm welcome and a cool beverage from hello. We loved everything about our stay, it was beautiful, quiet, yet could also be social at the main pool or restaurant … and you have the backdrop of Scottddale right off campus with fabulous restaurants for variety.

Staff is awesome

This property was amazing! The rooms were spacious, clean, and the bathroom was amazing! Loved the staff and breakfast was tasty! The fitness center and pools were convenient. We felt we were in a serene resort

Super hospitable staff. They were so polite and welcoming.

Everything in one place and great restaurant but if you felt like a different restaurant, many close by. You do have to get to the pool early to beat the rush for umbrellas ?

The room itself has s nice however AC wasn’t cooling the room very hot at night, shower went from hot to cold repeatedly. 2 scorpions in the room. Nice hotel it was a bit of a let down

The only thing keeping this resort a 5 star was the bugs that kept coming into the room. Would definitely come back and would recommend.

Very nice landscaping throughout. Enjoyed the combination of nature & beauty throughout the resort. Staff were all amazingly friendly & helpful in every aspect from check in to check out. Also loved the convenience of the location. The spa experience was memorable. Will be happy to return in the near future.

Definitely a couples spot. A nice place to relax n unwind.

I loved the grounds and location. We could walk to shopping and restaurants.
