Hampton Inn Kansas City/Shawnee Mission

Everything was Great butttt when we got in the pool which is indoors it was freezing. Never had an indoor pool be cold. Not a huge deal just didnt stay in for very long.

The tub in our room didn’t want to drain very well but we told staff and they were going to put in a work order right away.

Friendly staff, nice warm breakfast, convenient location. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Fastest check in I’ve had! Breakfast is great. Bathroom was a little dirty.

The rooms were very clean. The inside pool was nice. The hot breakfast was delicious. The staff was very friendly and kind. I was in a mobility handicapped room because my lungs disease makes it very hard for me to walk long distances. The room was at the very end of the hallway on the 3rd floor. By the time I reached it I was always so short of breath. Stairs are very hard if not impossible for me (which thank the Lord we didnt need to use) so no idea why a mobility handicapped room is on the third floor. Also I have a lot of medical equipment and we had to unplug every light to be able to plug it all in. Plus one side of the bed had no plug ins, so we had to have cords across the room for my husband's cpap. Also it was a tub with handles everywhere. I have never been in a handicapped room that had a tub they have all been walk in showers.

Everything was in good repair. Plenty of counter space in the bathroom. The room included 2 chairs--a plus for our morning routine--which is not common in this price range.

Staff are very nice and breakfast is really good Lighted mirror in bathroom stays on all night and even with door closed lets light into. Bedroom area

Overall, this is a pretty decent hotel. Definitely wouldn’t hurt for some minor love and care of the look in some areas but it’s extremely clean. The staff is also outstanding.

Room was clean and comfortable, staff friendly. Would have liked to have had a hot tub. Breakfast was awesome! Would stay again!

The breakfast was good. It was hot and the service was good. I think I paid $160 a night and booked several weeks ahead of coming. I'm standing at the counter and someone walks up asking for a room that night and got it for $124. I feel like I kinda got ripped on the price.

The room and hotel was very clean. The room had handy ammentities such as a little night light in the bathroom. The TV was great, free Sirius xm and more options than most ive stayed at recently. Gas station, restaurants, liquor store and movie theater are all in tbe same parking lot. Easy to access from i435. Will definitely be staying here again.
