I LIKE DUBLE TREE HOTEL
-
Clean room with strong odors, ran out of toilet paper - used tissue. Had a handicapped bathroom, due to the low shower lip the water from the shower stall was all over the bathroom floor. Staff was unattentive on their cell phones.
-
comfortable bed hallway carpet was very stained and dirty
-
Easy check in and friendly staff. Quiet at night. The room was dated but very clean. Walkable to bars, restaurants and Grand Arena Parking is an extra cost.
-
Rooms could use a refresh, but front desk staff was great and room was comfortable.

I like the cleanliness of the room The parking was not explained properly. I was told the parking was $22 per day but I had to pay $24 each time I left the property. It is not fair to deceive the guest on the parking. There needs to be a card presented by the hotel for the guest uses to get in and out of the parking garage without paying extra. If you can't get a deal with the garage then stop telling the guest the parking is $22 per day. That means you should be able to go in and out of the garage all day with no extra charge. I was very disappointed that none of your staff was well versed with the parking.

Good stay in a quality hotel with all the amenities required. Nice staff that were very helpful.

Friendly staff, nice clean rooms. Five minute walk to the Fitzgerald Theater where we saw a show. Would definitely stay here again!

Staff were friendly and helpful! Bed was very uncomfortable!!! Felt like I sank right through. It wasn't soft, it was more like it was hollow.
-
I liked the room was decent, comfy enough bed and good bar/ restaurant connected. Location was good and centralized for attending a concert nearby. 12 min walk to hockey arena. Cookies and 2 comp waters were a plus. Hallways were creepy as heck and kinda run down. Elevators stunk like urine and weed. Noisy construction outside (not their fault for that) but was hard to sleep. Room on 12th floor had an open window that shouldn’t have the option to open at all. Unless open just a crack might be fine. Air conditioning was weak and room was hot. Lobby snacks were overpriced but that’s everywhere.

Overall good experience. Need better creamer for in room coffee. Powdered creamer is bad

Very clean and quiet. Staff are ki d and friendly.

Our check-in with Chelsea was great. She was friendly and helpful thru-out our stay with a number of things. The hotel and our room were quite dated and a bit worn. Everything was clean and comfortable enough but the entire place is shoddy. Security seemed fine for a downtown area, with most areas restricted by keycard to hotel guests only, but actual security personnel were never observed. On our floor (10th) the hall carpeting was worn and raised in several areas which could pose a tripping hazard to older guests.

Location was excellent and price was very reasonable. Rooms were clean. Liked having a comfortable chair in the room and we had a nice view of downtown St. Paul. Hotel needs some updating. Hallway carpet was old, faded and rippling. Elevator shakes and makes loud noises like it’s going to break down anytime. Comforter on our king size bed had old stains on it. Shower / tub in bathroom was slippery but thankfully there was a bar on the wall. Needs more USB outlets for charging electronics.

The rooms were clean and it was convenient to our destination. However, the hall way carpet was heavily stained and buckled from water damage and the hallway smelled like cigarette smoke. There were no convenient outlets in the rooms with only one by the bed that didn’t work. A 12 oz black coffee cost $5.50 and breakfast option was limited to buffet or sit down. I will definitely look for other options in Saint Paul.
