Courtyard by Marriott Tampa Downtown

Great property and staff definitely will stay again when in Tampa

Hotel was clean, staff was friendly and the amenities were good enough. Hotel is located next to a commuter lot which at night becomes a destination for groups of people to hang out at. So it got kind of loud at night on the weekends.

Good hotel but was disappointed that were not told at check in or valet about the free available parking for hotel guest. We found by chance on our own after paying elsewhere first night.

Superb

The bar and cafe were perfect. We didn’t have to leave to go find breakfast or a before concert drink! Staff was super kind.

The front desk staff were so friendly, kind, and most importantly, welcoming! Not only when we initially arrived, but each time we entered the area. They treated us like they were happy to see us! We had a breakfast voucher and the breakfast was delicious! The bistro staff were very kind and friendly also! The outside area near the pool was so relaxing!! Great experience!! The bathroom could have been cleaned more thoroughly. Specifically, the shower and floor.

Parking

For the price for a night, I would not suggest the hotel. The staff was great but the over building and rooms we had were not. You will have to pay to park, 25-50 dollars. Breakfast is not complimentary, in fact nothing is. Our rooms smelled like wet and mildew with cleaners. The parking lot across the street does not guarantee your spot if you leave even know you paid for a over night stay. Over all a 350 a night rooms I expect better .

Great amenities

Staff are awesome, very friendly and helpful. The property location was great, there are shops, restaurants in a walkable distance. And a taxi boat stop 5 min away was a super plus.

Everything was fine with the stay until we used the toilet, we did not realize that the toilet handle was not functioning correctly so when we woke up the bowl had over flooded and the floor was soaked with toilet water.

Such a great stay at the Courtyard Marriott Tampa Downtown! The hotel was super clean, comfortable, and welcoming. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly kind and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The front desk staff made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived, and the valet team was always friendly and helpful. You can tell the entire staff genuinely cares about their guests. We would absolutely stay here again!

Property was excellent! Luz at the front desk was amazing and let us check in early after our cruise arrived early. Everyone was nice and the place was extremely clean!!!

The food at the bar and bistro was also very good and came out quickly. Everything was fresh, well prepared, and reasonably priced. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and appreciated how pleasant and accommodating the entire staff was. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend the Courtyard by Marriott.

Needs updating

I had the cc in hand and identification. Including my husband's dl since the booking was in his name. He was parking the car and they refused to let me check in. Additional frustration is $40 per day valet parking or $25 per day self park. Never mentioned during reservation.

Just the parking wasn’t free

Staff was excellent room was nice and clean. We'll be back!

Loved interacting with morning staff!

The staff members were extremely helpful and very nice...especially the valet staff.
