The hotel was very well maintained. I loved the free parking. The restaurant breakfast was outstanding. The free water bottles given at check-in was very nice.

The front desk are always smiling and willing to help. I was able to check in early and they granted me a free extra hour for late checkout. I highly recommend this hotel. I will stay there again next year.!

beautiful room, alot of charm and history. all the finishes were really nice. lots of character not the normal hotel experience. multiple interactions with staff were all positive.

The check in process was the most unpleasant experience. After a lengthy checking in, they checked us into an occupied room at 1:30 am. It was the most embarrassing and exhausting to open someone else’s room at that time of night. The room had a very humid and musty smell. The hotel feels very dark, We didn’t use any amenities, but I am sure you can find better choices in Urbana-Champaign.

Location is great! The bed was not the most comfortable. It felt like there was a hole in the middle of the bed. Definitely ask for extra pillows. Bathroom was nice

a nice hotel for travel.

The staff were so welcoming, knowledgeable and friendly. Check in was a breeze. The hotel looked brand new even although the building is a hundred years old. we had dinner in the restaurant and the food was first class. We arrived late and left early so didn’t use the pool but it looked very clean. Free parking right out front is always a bonus. Gorgeous little town with lots of quirky shops and restaurants. I can’t say enough good things about our stay. Highly recommend this hotel.

Having a modest breakfast available at lower cost than restaurant would have been nice.

From desk staff was cordial and efficient. My room was clean, bed was comfortable. Great shower. Plenty of outlets in ideal places. Room looked fantastic. It was quiet for sleeping, even though I was right by the elevator. Only thing I can think to have in the room that would have been nice: a microwave and non-down pillows. I prefer a sturdier pillow.

Very nice hotel, close to campus and very comfortable beds & rooms. Bathroom has a shower not a bath/shower. Yay
