Homewood Suites by Hilton Vancouver-Portland

Location ok Every single person who works here and I interact with with my friends was rude, unprofessional and unwilling to help! We wouldn’t ask for anything special just a lighter to light up a fireplace outside or the hot water for tea or a key to use a pool. But we were told no because we checked out at 11 o’clock and we cannot use pool after we check out because we’re not a guest anymore. I think it’s the worst experience I had in lifetime.

Bad

Great location. Close to nice restaurants

Absolutely no hot water for a shower No chairs on our “balcony“ Airplane noise Breakfast quality

Proximity to a couple of restaurants and the riverfront walk Absolutely no hot water for a shower No chairs on our “balcony“ Airplane noise Breakfast quality

Elevator could use a little sprucing up

I had to ask the staff twice to clean my room.

It's a pretty hotel. The room was claen and rooms have been recently redecorated and I like the cool colors much better than the yellow and orange they previously used.

Our room was not very clean. It wasn’t terrible but definitely no attention to details. We found two hair ties and several different

The set up of the property was very nice. We liked house we entered our room from outside. And they upgraded us! We stayed Sunday to Thursday and didn’t receive any room service.

Nice place to stay with family

Good

Staff was very friendly

Superb

It was our only night together for dinner and the host didn't seem to care one bit... no apology and no recommendation for dinner nearby or any help at all. I called Hilton and they never called back after promising to give us some sort of compensation. Pathetic....no hospitality ....no interest in our travel plans... the host only told me the service for the hotel was short staffed. I don't think we could stay for hours after check out? Could we? But we scheduled to arrive when our rooms were ready at 4pm check-in time to get ready for dinner and nothing....

Staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, the place was clean, and the buffet was really yummy. We loved the fresh baked cookies and snacks in the evening as well.

Great place to stay, walk the riverfront. Rooms have been redone since we last stayed. Restaurants nearby.

Fantastic stay!

Very spacious
