The Staff was very helpful and the beach view was awesome.

Parking is $25 a day. The hallway smelled like a bad nasal infection(musty and sour). The front desk staff on 9/25 around 8:30 pm was not friendly or welcoming. The lady who sat us at the restaurant acted as if we interrupted her day simply by asking to be seated. The beds made our back hurt. The couch sank so low when sat on it felt broken and old. The fridge wasn’t left “on” it was on low and we had to turn it up so it got cold enough to put food in. The tub had damage in certain areas. For $800 for two nights / 3 days I expected much more.

The room was pretty spacious with a good view. Indoor gym was pretty big and also stocked with water. However, the basement smelled like dogs poop frequently there. They do have a laundry room which is a plus. I think it’s a nice hotel to have a good vacation but my first impression was not that good.

The front desk staff was unfriendly. There was a big line at checkin with 2 people working the desk and one was on the phone. The breakfast buffet was disappointing for the price and for a Sheraton hotel.

Elevator was broken. No working ice maker on floors 1 to 5. Pool bar was not open our entire stay.

The rooms were amazing. First of all the beds were so amazingly comfortable. I had the best night sleep in those beds. I had to ask if I could buy their mattresses online. That’s how good the bed was and I have a bad back so that was very, very important. I also have a hard time seeing the TVs were huge and the selection of what you could watch was vast you could pick from so many things it’s wonderful not to be limited to a bunch of garbage channels and then two or three good channels you could basically get whatever you wanted, which was nice and the TV was actually big enough to see. I loved that the doors going out onto the balcony were glass to the floor so you could actually lay in the bed and watch the waves hitting the shore. The breakfast was also very good. I didn’t have the pleasure of eating there, but the breakfast was amazing. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. I had a very good experience and I will definitely be returning.

I immediately called the front desk multiple times, but no one answered. I eventually had to walk down to the front desk myself, where I waited approximately 10–15 minutes before I was able to speak with a staff member and report the issue. He offered to move us to another room, but after what had happened, my wife was too uncomfortable to continue staying at the hotel. We ultimately decided to check out around 5:00 a.m. Because of this incident, I barely got any sleep that night. I was already exhausted, and I still had to make an approximately five-hour drive back home that morning. Having to make such a long drive while sleep-deprived made the situation even more frustrating and concerning. My wife also recorded a video and took several photos of the cockroach in our room. I can provide and attach the photos and video if needed for your records and to verify what occurred during our stay. I am extremely disappointed with this experience. I expected a Sheraton hotel to provide a clean and sanitary room, as well as accessible front-desk assistance when an urgent issue arises during the night. Unfortunately, our experience fell far below those expectations

The pull out couch mattress was horrible. I was there with my daughter and her friend and gave them the beds so they could have privacy. Trying to sleep on that couch was torture

The place is amazing, the views are great. The only downside was the pool, wasn't heated and not clean. Other then that, everything was great

The hotel was only staffed with one front desk person during my stay over Labor Day weekend. I could not get my room cleaned after I made several requests. Long lines in the lobby for check in and just an overall bad experience.

The hotel needs maintenance, the elevator is very old and has noise, out

The room with balcony with a view of the ocean for $400 a day was a view of the fenced-in pool. While enjoying the beach, our room was broken into and stole valuable and memorable jewelries. Front office took our report but did nothing to help us. After 2 days of inaction Virginia Beach Police was called in. 10;30am at check-out I repeated to the same front office staff who took my initial report of burglary about my total disgust. That was the only time that a someone came out talk to me who asked about the incident and my personal information since we were leaving that day. Be very careful and bring your own security camera.
