I liked that you could walk to the park and marina.

1) The staff was first-rate. 2) The Breakfast was well prepared with a good selection, except for the fresh fruit. 3) Nice location, but a decent view of the river was blocked by the ugly architecture of the Black Pearl building. 1) No phone in the room for communication between rooms. 2) The only clock was in the microwave, too small for convenient viewing by seniors. 3) The hallway could have been cleaner; there were bits of trash in multiple places on the carpet. In general, none of these conditions were particularly bad; they just fell a bit below what I am used to at Best Western.

Stay Date: September 2026 Room Type Booked: Prepaid Jacuzzi Suite (7 Nights) I am writing this review to strongly warn anyone traveling with a legitimate service animal or booking premium room types at the Best Western Plus Port of Camas-Washougal. Our prepaid 7-night family stay was completely ruined by hostile management, blatant violations of federal and state disability laws, and a refusal to honor prepaid accommodations. The Sequence of Events: Prepayment & Transparent Check-In: Two months prior to our stay, we prepaid ~$1,500 in full for a 7-night stay in a Jacuzzi Suite. At initial check-in on Monday, I explicitly informed the front desk staff that my daughter, Danielle, her boyfriend, and her qualified service dog would be staying for the first portion of the week (Monday–Friday), and my husband and I would take over the room for the weekend (Friday–Sunday). I proactively offered the service dog's documentation at check-in to ensure total transparency. Refusal of Keys: Despite full prepayment, front desk staff refused to issue the room keys unless a $100 credit card hold was placed for incidentals. I had to leave and bring my daughter back so she could provide her credit card just to get the keys. Hostile Confrontation & Harassment: On Tuesday (~1:55 PM), barely 5 minutes after my daughter and her boyfriend entered their room, management called the room phone. The manager

The staff was very accommodating with us staying an extra night. Breakfast was amazing with lots of choices! The room was excellent and clean along with the pool, hot tub and sauna. Centrally located to restaurants and the freeway. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back again. Thank you!

The location was great. Beautiful next to the Columbia river. Close to McMennimans and Oswego. The staff were kind and the breakfast options were great! It was a busy weekend. Bummer that additional pillows were not available. Also, online it looked like you could order a roll away but didnt know that per fire code that if you have 2 queens you can't order a roll away.

love staying here. It is very close to family in the area. Thank you !

This hotel is very good for the area it serves. The only issue was the shower. It had no pressure and the show curtain didn't fit. Water on the floor from that and the tub was really slippery. Little to no counter space too

Room was clean, hot tub was clean. We loved that the rooms were not carpeted. A fresh and cleaner trend. Fresh towels and tidying daily. And a GREAT coffee machine in the lobby. We were fishing early so didn’t experience the breakfast, but I’m sure it was if the same excellence!! I’d recommend to friends and family.

Very quiet hotel, staff were very helpful, warm, and friendly. Minimal traffic in the area while still being close enough to Vancouver/Portland. Breakfast options were standard continental breakfast and everything was tasty.
