A pleasure to stay there. The staff is friendly and the hotel is very nice. I would prefer if the parking were not on the other side of the railroad tracks.

We could not be happier with our stay at Hotel Monroe. I love it when an older unused building has been restored to become such a beautiful facility. I would give this hotel my highest recommendation.

The computers were down at check-in, and so check-in was a nightmare. Ironically, this is the second Hilton I have stayed at this year, and same thing happened in Lake Charles earlier this year, so Hilton needs to upgrade their computer system. The TV came on at 11 pm to announce we had checked in, so I guess that's when the computers came up, we were already asleep. From there, everything was awesome. We had breakfast downstairs, but they have a limited menu until brunch starts at 10.. The rooms were excellent, beds very comfortable.. We had a school reunion downstairs in the bar area, staff was very accommodating to our needs, with about 50 people in attendance. We did get drinks at the downstairs bar, but didn't go to the upstairs bar, but it looked very nice.. Will definitely stay there again..

Very cool place with a great bar and restaurant. Friendly service and overall classy joint and best place to stay in Monroe, LA.

They put us in a room on the 5th floor. There are only 3 rooms on this floor. There is apparently a bar on this floor that wasn't mentioned at check in. You will not get any sleep until the bar closes. Bar patrons screaming, talking and laughing so loudly until the bar closed. Ridiculous.

Great hotel in a quaint neighborhood! Room and property were clean and staff provided great service, including a glass of champagne at check-in! This was also the perfect location to see the fireworks. Will definitely stay here again if we are in Monroe!
