The staffs were friendly and accommodating

Hallway had towels in it. No late checkout. Front desk attendant was awesome.
-
Room was clean. Front desk staff was courteous. Hotel is literally on Air Force Base.
-
Great place to stay!!! Will be returning next year.

I was pleasantly surprised with the furnishings and amenities. For the price I was expecting something more spartan. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the hotel was quiet. The walls must not have had much sound-deadening, however, since I could hear my neighbor sneeze. The staff was friendly and very helpful and breakfast was served in their restaurant at a buffet table... eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, biscuits, gravy, toast and Danish, juice and coffee/tea (but no decaf). Since I used Expedia to book the room, breakfast was not included (cost was $8.95). The hotel is a little out of the way location-wise but I will go back.

The Hope hotel is amazing! Love it for our family weekend at University of Dayton!

This property is in rough shape. My first room had a 40 year old air conditioning unit that had a loud, constant squeak, like a drive belt that was failing. The elevators are very poorly maintained with doors that stick half open. Exterior signage is poorly done - signs are obstructed by trees and posted about 10-15 feet above eye level. Hotel parking is sparse and fills up with low occupancy.

It is definitely a unique place to stay . We enjoyed it very much, thanks to the warm and friendly staff. It was very near the places we wanted to visit.
-
The hotel itself was very nice & clean. However, there were dogs on our floor that barked until after 9:30 at night & started again before 5:30 the next morning. I am NOT an animal hater, but hotels that allow animals need to put those people in a different space from those who do not bring animals. Another option is to not allow the owners to leave their animals unattended. Some people in hotels are there for rest & relaxation, & some even experience sickness while there & need quiet so they can get that needed rest.

Bed was lumpy. Room was clean, but overall could use an upgrade. Check-in staff was very friendly and helpful At check-out only 1 staff member who seemed overwhelmed and a bit frustrated by shortage of staffing

Room was very clean, staff was very friendly and restaurant on site was great! Food was very good and prices reasonable and nice breakfast buffet for breakfast! Yes the building may be older but it was a great place to stay.

Reasonably priced, staff was friendly and helpful. Nice take out breakfast for marathon runners (like me). Hotel bar was also comfortable and staff was accomodating.

Nice place to stay for a night. It’s an old building but it’s was spotless and clean. I would stay here again.
-
Everything screams government here, which it is! Packy’s bar and restaurant staff are great, good selection of local beers. Food was OK.
-
The grounds were uncluttered.
