Courtyard by Marriott Albany

The smoke smell from the previous guest and then someone tried to cover up the smell with a car air freshener

The rooms were clean and well done. The bathroom was clean, floors clean. Room noise was quiet and beds comfortable! The walk in to the hotel smelled like smoke but they have the smoker section right by the front door. We were told at check in the pool was closed but then there were people in it later in the evening. Showers good pressure and plenty of hot water. I would stay there again!

Ideal location to get to, it worked as a great base for getting around to places I needed to. The room was clean and had adequate space. The showers worked real nice! Slight damp smell, may of been due to AC / humidity. Other than that nothing of note as to anything else.

Me and my family did not enjoy our stay. It took us all day and night to get towels 2 days in a row of our 3 night stay. The pool was closed supposedly due to an incident that happened. Found out the morning we left there was no incident they had just cleaned the pool and evidently did not want no one in it. The refrigerator did not cool well they were supposed to come fix it they never did. Housekeeping did not come get the trash I had to find them to come get the garbage and they never made the bed the whole time we were there. We slept on the same sheets . We will not stay here again.

I came to check in no one was there I had to go pay another 185.00 at the Fairfield Inn No service no one was there to check me in

Was informed there was Breakfast this is false advertisement

The Front desk attendant Mario was very nice and informative.

Larry at the desk was very kind and welcoming! When checking out we let him know our refrigerator wasn't working and he took note to address it. It was great for an overnight stop.

We stayed at this hotel the night before our vacation and the night we got back. It was perfect for our needs. The rooms were clean, check in/out was easy and staff friendly. The first room we had was great. No complaints. The second room wasn’t as updated. My husband had to fix the running toilet and the thermostat was broken. We had to adjust the air directly so it wasn’t a huge deal. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would book again.

The staff was overworked due to being short staffed and some of the staff didn’t know how to use the check in and check out system and house keeping was horrible sometimes they would pick up my room but not make the beds and take the towels out but wouldn’t put any back in

There was supposed to be a complimentary breakfast the next day and I was informed that they having a hard time filling the staff to run that area of the hotel. So I had a card that wasn’t worth anything I had to go out and get myself something to eat . It was good

Horrible I was charged by this property on two different cards I’ve been trying to reach out to everyone booking everyone I have yet to receive my refund. I’m very upset about this property and I will be taking this property to court. The property manager is very unprofessional. I’ve been contacting her on different occasions. The last contact with her she has said that she was going to reach back out to me. I have yet to receive anything from her very disappointing.
