Tru By Hilton Amarillo West

Front desk and housekeeping

The road access to the hotel is messy, probably under construction for a while. But the hotel itself is good. Nice lobby, helpful staff, and the room is spacious and in good condition

Staff was very helpful. The room was clean and it was a great overall experience.

The property is new, had modern decor and was clean. Noise from the street and other guests seemed to permeate the walls more than normal for a hotel. A free tea and coffee station were available in the lobby which was nice, but the water in the thermos was cold and there was not a microwave to heat the beverages in the room.

Very clean, nice hotel. Amenities were good. Breakfast was very good — great pancakes, omelette and yogurt

solidly good breakfast options. very friendly staff. even though i did not bring a dog, i loved how pet friendly the hotel was (even had doggie cookies by the elevators). would definitely stay here again,

Comfy beds, but open closets??

..

Nice stay on our way through to Dallas

This hotel is terrific, wonderful staff, clean everywhere, great bed, great tv, wonderful sheets.

The room was smaller than I had anticipated but clean and comfortable. My only complaint is that the color scheme was reminiscent of an amusement park theme. This was a minor issue that eventually began to grow on me. My reaction an impression may have been swayed by the fact that this was my last night on the road on a long vacation road trip and I was just tired and cranky. Other guests seemed to enjoy the facility.

Staff was extremely friendly, professional, courteous and helpful. Blake was awesome! Great breakfast!

No, in room coffee.

I loved that there was no carpets in the room. That meant that there was no smell or dampness. I also loved the large bathroom and the amenities in the shower and by the sink. Everything was easy to find and I love the welcome message on the television. It’s a cute place and I like it.

Wood frame building lets you hear all of your neighbors and all noise in the hotel. The beds were extremely uncomfortable also.
