Hampton Inn & Suites Baton Rouge - I-10 East

DON'T STAY HERE. This place was I felt disgusting. It smelled musty and sickly. We had no choice but to stay the first night but I strongly recommend staying somewhere else.

The Hotel is in a great spot right off of I 10 West . It is near Blu Bayou the Mall of America and several fast food restaurants and family dining. The Hotel has a good Breakfast served from 6-10. The room was a decent size the amount of upgrades that needs to be down was too many . The bathroom tile was cracked , grout was missing so tiles moved . The sink worked well hot and cold water . The Bathroom counter was old and the paint was chipped. The TV would turn on but the receiver could not pick up the service . Each day we could turn TV on but could not turn the channel or even work . The desk clerk did come up with remotes trying to fix it but after time it would stop working . We were there 2 days and we could never watch TV at nite while in the room . The light bulbs were out . The lights in the room was very dim . The bed was ok we were able to sleep . The light were dim so I could not see how clean the sheets were or were not . If you are there to eat get breakfast and leave for the day and return at nite this is your place . A step above motel 6 . Very safe area. No damp smell when you walk in room or Hotel . A lot of upgrades need to be done .

The staff was very attentive and great with communication. The room was very nice. Breakfast was great both days and the parking was great as well!

Friendly staff and a baggie of complimentary goodies at check-in for members. Clean room and good breakfast with wide variety of selection.

The door was in poor condition we had to push it open it was stuck the tv had no remote we went down n got another one , it didn’t work either all the door handles are worn down it wasn’t a pleasant stay .

Breakfast was good, includes waffles, breads, juice and peanut butter. I really can't think of anything to complain about. I didn't get a chance to try pool or gym but they looked good.
