The appliances, sinks, and toilet could also use a much more thorough cleaning. It looked more like cleaning products had been wiped over the surfaces, leaving behind a smeared appearance, rather than everything being thoroughly cleaned with fresh water and clean rags. The room could also use more personal essentials and basic amenities for guests. Overall, with more attention to detail, better cleaning, and replacing worn or badly discolored items like the toilet seat, the room could be very nice. But we only stay for one night so it was a good for overall. We just stay for one night because we were attending a concert that was in Birmingham and also the pricing was a good easy check-in no problems.

The facility was renovated sometime last year and remains fairly well maintained. Primary things about this hotel that will cause me to never stay here again are: The exterior doors to the stairways and parking lot are always propped open and apparently nobody cares. One would think an alarm bell would sound, but nope. Since right outside these doors appears to be the various smoking areas (including the apparent pot smoking areas) and there are very large ventilation fans on the ends of the central halls, all that smoke just billows through the hallway and it smells terrible. There is a grill on one side, so you get some of that smoke also. I like to walk to get some exercise, so I attempted to do so at about 6:30 AM. I had to go back to my room because the pot smoke permeating around the exterior perimeter was overwhelming. Apparently there is a need for some guests to get their day started just like the previous day probably ended - high as a kite. They need to do more exterior maintenance and monitoring for this kind of behavior. The exterior experience is why I will not be back.

It did appear that the hotel was somewhat understaffed, toiletries were not in abundance, such as paper towels. Had a hard time getting onto WiFi and had to wait for assistance after having called 2-3 times earlier. I probably would not stay here again.

Bed was ill made Hair on shower wall bathroom felt dirty. And someone’s left overs sat on top of the fridge. The toilets need to be the appropriate height. They are so very short.

Wasn't horrible but lots of choices so we won't stay again.

The carpet in the room was dingy, the bathtub was dirty, towels were dingy, bathroom sink faucet was broken.

The photos of this hotel are very deceiving. The room we received the carpet had tears in it. The room had a weird smell. The air conditioning unit rattled all night long even when it was “off”. There was a large red stain on the desk in front of the tv.

Very clean room, very comfortable

The rooms appear to be not very well cleaned. There was a lot of air freshener covering up other smells both in the rooms and in the hallway. The elevator was musty and dirty. The sheets had stains that look like dried blood on them.

Fits the need for a quick place at a reasonable price.

Couldn't take a shower in the morning because there was no towels...was told when the cleaning staff clean some I could get them... checkout was at 11. Horrible

I was able to book this hotel for $67 and I was amazed at the quality. I'll definitely be returning!

Bathroom sink and bathtub slow on draining sink backed up a couple times. Other than that no complaints

Staff are great but the room was not clean. The bathroom had hair, the sink was clogged, and no shower curtain.
