La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Buffalo Amherst

This is the nicest La Quinta I have ever stayed at and a beautiful property all around. I stayed two nights and slept great both nights. Nice breakfast area with everything in perfect order. Lots of cable channels.

Nice hotel, looks newly remodeled. Staff was nice. Bathroom in room very nice but mattress was very soft. Offers "soft cleaning " every other day" ..someone was supposed to take our trash out and change towels but never happened. Supposed to be full cleaning on the other day but our beds were never made, etc. Breakfast was so so...no variety at all..mediocre food.

Clean, decent breakfast buffet. Great spot to stay if you want to do some shopping and go to a Bills game.

It was close to University at Buffalo and 10-15 mins from other attractions. My only complaint was the door and bathroom door were not square and you had to force them to open and close.

Property needs some updating. Overall stay was fine for one / two nights but would not really choose to come back. There are many other places in the general area that are nicer. Thank goodness bed and bathroom were clean.

The room was not very clean. There was toothpaste all over the bathroom wall. There was no hand soap for the sink. Staff was nice but standoffish. The breakfast was gross. There were gnats and flys all over the food. The cereal was stale and the counters were dirty.

Only complaint was that there was no decaf coffee and seating was awkward. The booth benches were low compared to the tables and there weren’t many tables with just chairs.

Good spot off the highway. Plenty of parking. It’s getting old and I made the mistake of booking during a Bills game. $300+ for a room with a hole in the drywall isn’t my idea of value.
