La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Des Moines West Clive

Nice room

Each staff person we encountered during our stay was friendly, welcoming, professional and had a positive attitude. Every area was very clean and our room was very comfortable. We would have enjoyed having more than one chair in the room. The breakfast choices were very good and satisfying. It was a relaxing, welcoming place to stay, especially after a long drive.

Staff was great. The breakfast was Awsome.

This is a solid, pet friendly hotel with really comfortable king beds and good soft pillows. It’s close by two restaurants (walking distance) and right off I-80. Good breakfast included.

Enjoyed our stay. Room was very comfortable. Slept well. Will stay there again

The Jacuzzi jets seemed to be very weak and didn't blow out very much water or air.

Nice place. Good breakfast. Animals.

Breakfast is just okay. I would not return.

breakfast could have more items

Excellent hot breakfast amd cappuccino machine. Indoor pool and hot tub were great. Pool towels were a plus. Room was spacious. John at the front desk was so helpful. Warmer pool and hot tub.

Exceptional

Very slow front desk staff- you could hear everything your above neighbor was doing- woke up to cockroaches on the wall

Room was clean. Got our rest. Quiet.

The room was very clean and spacious, bed is comfortable. The only problem was the refrigerator. It was set too cold and was freezing our extra bottles of water.

Our doorknob literally fell off. We were told the issue was fixed. Come to find out that the door wouldn’t lock. When we brought up the issue and said we were leaving they promised they would take care of it and lock the door. We had to leave for a reservation. When we got back the door was NOT locked. The front desk told us the only option was to change our room. Our door was never fixed😭

The night desk staff wasn’t friendly nor helping

Hablar español les falta

The lobby smelled really nice, but the elevator smelled terrible of burning rubber. Since the all the food was left uncovered, breakfast was really cold. There was also dried clumps of toothpaste in the sink in our room.

Very good
