The check-in process was smooth and the staff were very welcoming. There was a fragrance that permeated throughout the hotel that was amazing. The room was very well maintained and spotless. I would stay again if in the area.

The elevator was on the TOTAL opposite side of the room we were put in, used the stairs to go up and down. seems there should be a better way to do this.

After calling the desk and getting no acceptable help for my problem if no working refrigerator, I went to the front desk. Georgia and Patricia were at the check in desk. They both offered options but Georgia actually helped. I asked if we could swap refrigerators because without it our food would spoil and I needed my medicine with me. She actually made the swap. I’m sorry there was “man” or maintenance person to facilitate the solution, but Georgia didn’t let that stop her. She was very friendly, animating, and a true problem solver. She didn’t get paid more fire helping but she certainly did whatever she could try help save the hotel reputation and help a customer with their needs. I booked the hotel further from Columbus at this hotel because of the Marriott name/reputation. The refrigerator didn’t work. They had no one working in maintenance to exchange a refrigerator. The initial person at the desk was not helpful. Georgia saved the visit. Patricia did say she was working a note for the manager to contact me the next morning. No contact was made. That’s ok because of Georgia!

The lobby was nice There was mold around the outlet in the bedroom. The cafe staff was rude. The sheets were stained.
