area the pool hours. n fitness hours and not clean pool floor

For the price per night the hotel needs an update. The bathtub needs an update. The elevator doesn’t show the floor number you are going to. It was an ok stay for a night where you won’t stay for long.

Of course, the request was denied. so they kept my money, but I had no hotel stay. I will never stay here because they don't care about customer service. And they is reflected in the care of the property as well. Just waiting in the lobby, it was not upkept, the lights were flickering and going out in the lobby desk, and the area wasn't clean, including the bathrooms.

Breakfast was very good. They don’t make up rooms unless asked. Building is falling apart.
-
Mold growing in the shower, tins of it

The rooms are out of day I’ve seen bugs It just shouldn’t be a hotel anymore.

The staff was courteous and helpful. The room with a king bed and accessible shower was excellent. It was clean and comfortable. There was a nightstand on each side of the bed. (This is not the case in some of the newer hotel chains.) The refrigerator had a freezer compartment; a big plus in my view. This hotel is pet-friendly and much appreciated. The hallways were carpeted, clean and well lit. The stone/brick work on the hotel's exterior walls and pillars at the entrance should be repaired immediately to match the same nice aesthetics found inside. The buttons and digital read-outs (e.g. floor indicator) on the control panel inside the elevator should be fixed to light up.

Staircase floor was sticky. The side entrance door was propped open. Bottled water was not provided for us while I witnessed it being provided for other guest upon check-in.

The location was great for us. We went to a concert nearby and even with traffic was only about 25 minutes away. The Town Tavern across the street was PHENOMENAL and open late (2:30am at least on weekends). There is a longhorn, Dairy Queen, and a seafood restaurant as well. Great location! However, the room wasn’t as great as we thought. When we arrived, the staff was great. However, our room wasn’t as great. The bed was definitely stiff and not as comfortable as others made it sound. We stayed in the king suite with the jacuzzi. That was actually great. A little smaller than I thought but still good. The shower was leaking by the bathroom door. The shower bar also wasn’t secured all the way (top screws on both sides not secured and the bar leans/falls down opening the curtain on BOTH sides) so a nice hot shower came with an unfortunate cool breeze. I also found a rib bone under the couch! It wasn’t a great stay, but not terrible.

The staff was extra friendly and helpful, especially at breakfast. The bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in. Some guests didn't follow the courtesy rules for the pool in supervising their children, but the children were having fun, so I didn't let it bother me too much.

We were disappointed with this motel. The young man who checked us in, seemed to want to please. In the first room we were given, the carpet under the air conditioner was soaking wet. I went and told him, he came immediately and checked it out. He said he’d get us another room. However, the second room had the same problem. It was wet too. He said he’d contact the manager, and get us another room. He came back and said he was giving us another room on the 3rd floor. He said he’d leave it open and we could just go up. The elevator ride was horrendous. It shimmied and jerked and jolted. We decided we would not be taking the elevator again! We got to the room, and he had not left it open. We were standing there with all our luggage. I took the stairs down to get the key. He was not at the desk. After waiting a while he finally came. He said he let my husband in. I told him about the elevator. He said the owners know about it, but haven’t had it fixed yet. I asked him what they could do to make our stay better. He said he’d talk to the manager. When we checked out 2 days later, I asked him what the manager said about making our stay better. He said they hadn’t responded. He took my phone number and said they would be in touch. It’s been three days. I have reached out and they haven’t responded. I would not recommend this motel to anyone, and we definitely won’t be staying there again. I don’t think it’s asking a lot to have the manager reach out to us.
-
The room stunk, floors were dirty, the elevator made scary noises, and my AC didn’t work. No pride in the building.
-
The rooms could be a lot more cleaner and fresher smelling I would also advise newer shower heads

The room was clean and the linens were clean. But the bathroom. It was disgusting. Mold all around the tub surround as well the base of the faucet on the sink. Hair and orange stuff all over the place! It's a well with a water softener so it feels like you never get rinsed off. The orange stuff is from the salt in the water softener.

What really made our trip special was the breakfast concierge, Betsy! She is an amazing human who made us laugh, made us feel comfortable, and helped us with every breakfast that we had during our stay! Give this woman a raise! We were there for 3 nights and every breakfast we looked forward to just so we could talk to Betsy! She gave us suggestions on places to go and made us feel like we were her family! We seriously wanted to take her home with us! We love Betsy!!! Jack, Heather, and Peyten Jarvis
