Breakfast was hit or miss one day really good next day not so good over cooked eggs bacon all stuck together. Toaster took forever.

Beautiful location overlooking the harbour in Dana Point and close to lots of restaurants in historic Lantern District. Breakfast was wonderful as well as their wine hour. Very comfortable large room.

A beautiful hotel in a fabulous location. The wine and nibbles at 4pm were a really lovely touch and very much appreciated and the breakfast was different each day and a very high quality. Our room was very near to reception/breakfast room. Even though we had requested a quiet room, we could hear other guests chatting when they returned to the hotel in the evening and breakfast being set up from 5.30am each morning, which wasn’t ideal.

Top notch! Worth the price. My wife and I came for a night after our wedding and had breakfast dropped off in our room. We stayed in the tower / patio room and enjoyed breakfast over the harbor. Would definitely do it again.

Beautiful location and hotel was very clean and comfortable. Parking lot was full most of the time, making it a challenge in the evening to park.

The Blue Lantern was really lovely in a low key way. Perfect for what we were looking for. The only thing we would have changed is that the hotel does not offer lattes as a coffee option.

Awesome breakfast and good happy hour! Parking lot was spacious. Building is a little worked from when we stayed 20 years ago. Pricing is a little outrageous. Overpriced for your basic bang for the buck.

We paid about $600 for one night in this place and our window was facing the parking lot with four full of cars while I paid this amount of money for viewing ocean. Expedia should’ve notified us before we confirm this reservation

My husband and I inadvertently left our bathing suits on our small deck; after we had checked out and were on our way to the airport we got a message that housekeeping had found them. The front desk offered to mail them to us — such wonderful service!!

We had a wonderful stay at the Blue Lantern Inn. The hotel is incredibly cosy, beautifully located, and very peaceful The breakfast was excellent. The staff were absolutely lovely and made us feel at home . A charming place that we would happily recommend and return to!
