Holiday Inn Express Denver Downtown by IHG

Nice staff and a solid breakfast were the highlights of my stay. The hotel itself needs some upkeep, though. Multiple treadmills were broken, light bulbs were out, towels weren't always replaced, the ironing board was in bad shape, and the shower ceiling had extensive peeling paint. The room also lacked adequate lighting. Not a bad stay overall, but maintenance needs improvement.

Had a few issues here. 1st room the TV, plugs and outlets didn't work, no hair dryer, the safe didn't work. Changed rooms and also outlet issues and no safe. Big lack of lightening in both rooms. Hot water from the cold water handle. Central air/ heat control so had to have space heater brought up. One elevator door stuck closed for a few minutes. Very noisy between rooms and street sirens, etc. the Staff and Breakfast were good. Most ice machines on various floors didn't work. Maid didn't replace / leave cups or ice bags. Dbl bed room and bathroom were VERY SMALL? Will not stay at this hotel again.

For me convenience of Microwave and a refrigerator was a negative. Had to play around with the TV to get it to work.

The hotel location is great, only one block away from the 16th Street FreeRide buses that bring you from Union Station into downtown Denver. Being so close to restaurants and shops on 16th Street was very convenient. Also just a short walk to the convention center. The check-in went smoothly, very courteous staff who actually allowed me to check in early and gave me some information about the area. The hotel and the room were both very clean and welcoming. The beds were extremely comfortable. The breakfast was very good, and the staff made sure the area was well stocked, serviced and clean. Small note, there are two machines that makes the coffee from fresh beans; it was delicious, and available at all times. I will definitely book a room here the next time I travel to Denver.

Clean room the furniture was worn

I had a corner room and I could see multiple streets of course with multiple streets you hear multiple noises and sirens 2 o’clock in the morning, but what are you gonna do?

Our room was consistently too cold, and we had to get staff to come into our room in order to change the HVAC settings. We had no control/thermostat available to us. Very uncomfortable and highly inconvenient.

This is the fourth time we had stayed here. We like its free breakfast and walking distance to downtown. Only down fall is paying for parking

Elevator did not work. Had to use stairs bringing down luggage and I just had sugary a week prior

Very clean, very professional. I will say the room was a bit hot but when we called the front desk for a fan, he brought it to us fairly quickly. I did feel like using a box fan in a hotel that Nice was a little funny though. Other than the temp in the room, it was a great stay.

Location, location, location. Great Breakfast. Very clean. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

Second time staying at this location and its always clean and very nice. Walking distance to everything, friendly staff and a great breakfast. I will always stay here when visiting Denver CO.

The problem no parking

Room was very hot, no ac control in individual rooms. Not given the size bed that was booked. Probably the smallest bathroom and room I have ever stayed in.

I did not check-8in, as the location was not as advertised . It was too far from the airport. SO I WASTED $--- DOLLARS.

Our room’s hot shower didn’t work.

No refrigerator or microwave. Toilet was installed at an angle and the lid wouldn’t stay up. The bathroom door wasn’t installed correctly and wouldn’t close.
