Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Des Moines Airport

I was originally given a room next to the laundry, so I asked the front desk person if she could give me another room and she did so without question and very cheerfully. Great customer service. The complementary breakfast was also fantastic! Great hotel – highly recommended.

Cleanliness, room size, breakfast

Quiet; near fun things to do in DM; staff was very helpful.

The proximity to the airport and the ease of leaving my car for my stay. Not a single thing

Good location. Friendly staff.

The man on duty was very helpful, excellent

Place is nice in a pinch. Little pricey for what it is.

Very good

Clean and convenient

Staff were super helpful.

Staff was excellent. Very accommodating. Property was clean. I'll stay there again.

Everything I needed

Heavy self closing bathroom door in room.

Great staff Heavy self closing bathroom door in room.

Great clean hotel close to the airport and restaurants!

Very nice place and close to the airport. They have a shuttle which is nice, but I didn't use. Typical free hotel breakfast. Room was clean, comfortable and quiet even though it was close to the runway approach. Next door to a nice restaurant no matter what other reviewers might say. Would stay here again.

Superb

While there are some updates around the property, some of the carpet looks worn down. Also the breakfast was okay but I have stayed in nicer hotels in bigger cities for the same amount per night.

I didn’t like that there was no water bottle in the room.

Location to airport Room was dated, old carpet on room floors and hallways and even elevator. Didn’t remove my shoes in the room.
