Holiday Inn Des Moines-Airport/Conf Center by IHG

Very good

Becca is amazing. The shuttle driver said zero.....to me.

The location was convenient for a late arrival at the airport The sink wasn’t working and a late arrival meant it couldn’t be fixed. The carpets smelled like smoke A strong smell of chlorine from the poorly balanced pool water hung in the air. Breakfast stopped at 9am It’s very run down

Super convenient shuttle and access to airport. I arrived on a Sunday evening and was disappointed that the restaurant, bar and hot tub were closed. In fairness, when I went back and looked closely, the hours of the restaurants were accurate, but it was disappointing nonetheless.

Rooms seemed old and dated.

Staff was very helpful, best part readily available shuttle service Breakfast are not included although its not a big deal

Room was hot and even after adjusting the thermostat it did not cool down more than a couple degrees, so it was very warm

Good

Exceptional

Staff was very friendly and helpful. We needed to return our rental car and the shuttle picked us up from the rental car center. Room was clean.

Very good

We only stayed overnight as we were traveling. We were very tired, so we didn't take advantage of any of the amenities. However, the pool/ food court area looked amazing!

The restaurant staff were not very inviting or friendly. Food wasn't that good. Fried food was over cooked. Asked for butter for my hash browns and was handed rudely frozen balls of butter which made the hash browns very cold and hard to eat.

The room was clean and very comfortable. The pool never got to crowded or loud. All of the desk staff were very friendly and pleasant to speak with. Clean, nice staff, well maintained facility

Interesting facility. good location. The omelet was really good. The SHOWER is Dangerous. As a physician traveling with my Occupational therapist daughter, we were dismayed by the bad design in the bathroom. we both deal with injured people and these BR's are a setup to cause more. The fixed shower door is misplaced. It should be away from the faucet. There are NO stability/safety bars in or around the shower. Just Stupid. The floors are better than some, but still slippery when very wet. We will not stay here again just because of this lack of concern.

Everything was clean. Nice pool. Hot tub was broken unfortunately. The small Grill restaurant staff were the best. Both dinner and breakfast. So friendly! Beds were extremely comfortable

It is as a very cozy environment Everything was great
