This explains why our room was set at 78F on heat with the toilet seat up when we checked in the day previous. They had been drying out a flooded bathroom so it was a known problem. The advertised distance of a 2 minute walk to Greenfield Village on Orbitz is a LIE. It is 34 minutes - check Google Maps. Likewise 34 minutes to the Henry Ford Museum. We also lacked a waste can (requested twice) and had to go down for towels the second evening and a hair dryer. Breakfast was bleak.

Good location if you are visiting the Henry Ford complex. Good breakfast. Renovations going on which were much needed. My room did not have the typical amenities such as , hair dryer, cups, coffee maker or ice bucket. Hopefully once renovations are complete it will be better.

The only reason I give this property 2 stars and not 1 is that they are currently renovating. That said, there was NO communication that they were renovating and that the workout facilities and about 40% of the parking spaces would be unavailable. The check in process was curt (efficient - but not a single welcome or thank you or anything) the room was not good: shower curtain smelled mildewy as soon as the hot water hit it, bed was weirdly soft and also lumpy. Altogether a place I would avoid.

Old hotel near railroad. Lots of noise from neighboring rooms until very late.
-
night before in a different Comfort Inn and it was much much nicer.
-
Good location and comfortable room
-
The hot water was lukewarm, there were no cups for water, no ice bucket, no tv guide and they were remodeling, and the bfast was terrible no bacon or biscuits and gravy just powdered eggs and sausage, potatoes and waffles
-
There was no hot water.
-
In fairness the hotel was going through renovations but there could have been a better process to assure the area to be clean The breakfast was OK but the orange juice was awful Staff was nice Limited parking space
-
Everything else was great, including the staff.
-
Hotel was in nice condition and met all my other needs. So because of the water situation I could only give the an average rating.
-
No hot water in shower. Hotel was full due to event at the Henry Ford Museum. Was told that many systems would not work when hotel was full.

First the nicest thing I can say is that the room it self was clean! They had construction going on the second floor it was very loud and we were not notified! Considering that all the pounding and banging was underneath us! The breakfast was not good and the elevator’s are in poor condition!! We prayed every time we got on that we would make it to our floor! I told the lady at the front desk the very first day that our sink wouldn’t drain was not fixed until I said something again on day two! Our check out morning our cards would not work we had to have cleaning people let us in and we had NOOOO hot water! And I mean NO hot water! I told the gentleman at the front desk and he informed me that I had to go through Expedia and they would get in touch with the manager of the hotel! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone for being a comfort Inn it was very poor! Which is a shame b/c it is very close to The Henry Ford Meuseum and lots of restaurants are in walking distance!

Water was cold, so no hot showers, parking was limited due to renovations. We don't be back.
