Exceptional

The Home 2 Suites by Hilton Durham University Medical Center provided a big, comfortable room with a kitchenette (stove and microwave, well equipped), separate sitting area and good-sized bathroom. The breakfast was fine. All the staff members I interacted with were helpful and outgoing, I particularly enjoyed talking to a young man named Rob (I think) with whom I had a chat when there was no one else waiting for attention at the front desk. There was plenty of parking, I always found a spot near the building. The supplies for sale at the little shop near the front desk are vastly overpriced, but you expect that. The real problem was the noise level in the room. The bedroom part of the suite is right by the window, which is not well sound-insulated, and I-85 runs quite close by. I had the misfortune of being there on Saturday night, when a lot of demonstrative revving and racing was going on besides the usual constant highway noise. Even with my excellent earplugs, it was hard to get to sleep and stay asleep. I would recommend asking for a room not facing the highway.

The assortment were surpringly good considering this was a buffet. Everything we sampled was better than the usual breakfast. The best was it was included in the room price; we will make this hotel our choice again when visiting Durham Front desk reception

Our original room was not clean (the sheets on one bed) and the auto blinds were stuck and crinkled up, but we were quickly moved to a handicapped room, which actually suited us better. See above

We always stay at this hotel when traveling to North Carolina. The rooms are big and spacious, clean, nice pool and patio, staff is friendly, and amazing breakfast

Everything was great! Great location, good breakfast, clean, excellent amenities.

The staff is very helpful and courteous and the property is very clean and well maintained...will be staying here when I visit Durham moving forward.

From the time I arrived staff was very pleasant, told me everything I would have asked. Breakfast was delicious, and the hotel itself was very clean. My room was clean, and the bed was very comfortable, I even liked how the TV had my name on it. I'll definitely come back if I'm in the area. HAPPY AND SATISFIED CUSTOMER

Enjoy the stay. Very clean and functional

Great place to stay in Durham, especially convenient for Duke Move in days as it is so easy to get everywhere. Staff are really attentive and friendly. Very clean amenities, rooms and foyer. Gym was well maintained and reasonably well equipped. Washing machines and dryers were convenient and reasonably priced. Cookies each day were a real treat. Breakfast was plentiful with good variety and tasty. Would definitely recommend staying here to people visiting Durham and will stay again if I visit my son at Duke.

The room was clean. The staff was courteous and responsive. The breakfast was great wide range of options to choose from.

Was clean and had great amenities

This is a nice hotel, surrounded by plenty of places to eat. BUT I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND staying here since there are a bunch of breaking into cars that happens here; even with security being on sight. During my stay here at least 10 cars were broken into, including my friends car.

Hotel was very convenient for doing college tours for Duke and UNC.
