The staff at this hotel are wonderful! The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was decent. The carpets could use some cleaning and the place could use some general updating.

Size of room Smell in room - initial front desk person - cold pool

Good location, but the most important thing to me was I did not see one bug Not muck to complain about here

Average hotel. Not so clean and toilet flush tank didn’t readily work.

We didn't realize it was a pet friendly hotel until we checked in. The elevator smelled and the carpet in the halls and rooms needs to be replaced. We found a trashed plastic cup under the bed. But the woman in charge of the breakfast buffet was very pleasant and welcoming.

Room smelled musty, wet and was just generally not maintained. Co workers who where in the same hotel mentioned similar experiences so no point in asking for a new room. I was only here because my trip was last minute and everything better was booked. I will avoid this next time, as you should.

The people working at Best Western Plus Peoria were very nice and helpful. It's not their fault that this hotel's maintenance has been dreadfully neglected for years. I hope this review catches the eye of the hotel owner. I hate to give poor reviews, but some good may come as a result of my review. I checked into room 403 (4th floor king suite) on 9/10. Checked out on 9/13. Check in at front desk was fine. There were definite signs this hotel needs updating. The elevator flooring was ripped out and replaced with a dirty utility rug. On the 4th floor hallway, it's stuffy and hot. The really old A/C wall unit temp control wasn't even digital. It was a slider gauge. Couldn't tell if it was 78 or 82. Either way, too hot. When we opened the door to room 403, the smell of dog urine is outrageous. Front Desk had told me at check-in that the hotel was sold out so we couldn't switch rooms. The hotel didn't have the room a/c units running (there were 2 in this suite) prior to us arriving, so the smell was nauseating. This was a suite with separate bedroom; separate bath. Didn't matter where you went in the suite there was no escaping that smell. The next morning I did mention this to the sweet lady who worked in the front office she came up to the room and did have some powder deodorizer sprinkled on carpet while we were out for the day. So the deodorizer sat the majority of the day, but it was no match for the incredibly awful urine smell. Consider yourself warned.

Very Convenient , near all stores restaurants and the school. No Hot Water The Whole Stay. Toilet was nasty looked like it hasn’t been cleaned son’s rim of it. And they only have pork please consider turkey or beef products I’m Muslim. I come every year for my niece family and friends weekend.

Great room. Clean and comfortable
-
The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was was good however there was not a clock in the room.
-
The price is too high for the condition of the building. Rooms are in desperate need of up grade and renovation to continue to charge that price for a room. No amount of cleaning can erase the visible age related condition of the building or the need for deep cleaning. The staff was fantastic. I really like the lady you had fixing breakfast.

This is an older place. However they kept it clean. Nice staff!

I liked the beds. I was worried, because they are not firm and I sunk in, but it was a comfortable night's sleep. Breakfast options were good. It was clean. I wished the sheets were soft. They were a bit rough. I'm not used to such humidity. Wall unit ac was like a swamp cooler. Everything felt damp (the carpet, the sheets). I'm sure that's normal in such humidity.
