It is close to the college my daughter goes to, safe area, tucked back to limit traffic noise It is stating to see more wear and tear..

It was great to have a bar in the hotel. Teresa the bartender was a sweetie! The hotel was clean, cheerful decor. Grounds were very pretty. Right off Rt 91. Would stay again!

Hotel is nice and in a good location for what we need. Fridge wasn’t up to temp on arrival, had to pull it out of cubby to turn up. Lighting in the bathroom could be brighter. Ice machines on floors 4-6 did not work, that’s was a bit frustrating. Overall plus is cleanliness and check in process.

1) The lighting overall in the room was totally insufficient. This was especially in the first 10 feet after you enter- NOTHING to turn on, especially overhead where the closet is jammed to the front door and you can't see anything. A total SAFETY HAZARD. The only other room lights were on the wall by the sides of the king bed, and a plug-in standing light in the far left corner.' 2. The "DOOR" to the BATHROOM was suspended and swung freely in and out, you had to slide it to the left to enter. VERY UNSTABLE, and a 4-5 inch OPEN GAP between the door bottom and the bathroom floor. So much for privacy. Even worse, in the middle of the night, MY BARE FOOT GOT STUCK IN THIS GAP and I almost went crashing to the floor. ANOTHER total SAFETY HAZARD and ridiculous design. Who approved the architectural plans (or let CT building codes slide) for this monstrous "DOOR". My partner and I left it open the whole time to avoid getting killed by this thing. Last but much less critical- the metal beaded pulls for both layers of curtains were very loose and cumbersome to get any upward or downward movement. Not great when you need to go to sleep and the room lighting was so disastrous in dark hours. The hotel was long overdue for a fresh upgrade of wallpaper and rugs. It was quiet (we were there on two weekdays) and the breakfast was edible.

But the worst part was the door to the outside slamming everytime someone went in or out. Needs a slow closure put on it. Thankfully the staff person was more than happy to move us. We were put on 3rd floor. In a 2 queen room but that was ok to get away from the slamming door. Breakfast was decent. Had options.

Wall heater/A/C rattled, noisy. Toilet flushed loud and furiously. Breakfast was awful. Pool was great!

Everything is so amazing there. I spent one night but I wish I stayed more to enjoy the hotel and what they offer.

Nice property, good rooms. Just an overnight after flying into BDL and then traveling North the next day. Good breakfast. The outdoor pool was really nice for a swim in the rain :)

10/10 - I would stay here again. I read some bad reviews and was nervous. But everything was perfect! The pool is massive and the pool area beautiful. Other highlights were the friendly staff, clean room and delicious breakfast. Bonus - My family took a 4 minute walk to the Keltic Table and Tap. Again, great service and food. It was music bingo night and we had so much fun.

Good location. Pool. Friendly staff We were put in a handicapped access room. It had no sofa, the bathroom was probably fine for people in a wheelchair chair but word for us. The sink was outside the shower room.

The staff was very friendly. Other Then that the rooms were not in the best condition and the hot breakfast was cold.
