Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Atlanta Fairburn

Location, great in relation to who i was visiting. I didn't participate in breakfast this time because I slept in. This is the second time i stayed at this location. I liked my name on the television screen the first time, but that didn't happen this time. It makes you feel more welcome when it feels like your room is personalized. The cleaning staff knocked on my door sooner than checkout, and then asked me when I was leaving. I thought that was a little rude. Checkout is 11 so they probably should have waited until then.

Dealing with this hotel was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had booking through Expedia. The airline that was a part of our package somehow made a hour and a half right turned into a 24 hour ordeal that left me stranded in Nashville when I should have been in Georgia. Even though contacted and advised of what happened once 24 hours later I arrive they refuse to check me into the hotel. I had to stand outside approximately three hours, chatting with their customer service to try to explain what went on, ultimately having to walk away from a fully pay for reservation simply because they didn’t accept the circumstances of the plane being delayed for an entire day by the airline. We expressed being tired, exhausted, hungry, frustrated, and this company still decided that it was better for them to stand on some weird policy because we didn’t come the day before that that was worth leaving us outside. I almost feel like this entire thing has some type of race component Because there’s no comprehendible reason why something that was already paid for would be refused because we were delayed due to something we could control or something. We were forced to have to deal with because of the airline.

the pool wasn't open. if we wanted to swim we had to use adjoining hotel pool

Overall a great stay, the hotel pool was under maintenance when we visited but they did offer an alternative pool with the Marriot affiliate hotel next door.

Parking is good Breakfast was good Rooms were good the bed was a little to soft for me but overall it was good Pool was closed for some unforeseen reason Overall a great place to stay

The property was lovely. Staff was hospitable. My room was clean and pleasant. Breakfast was on point. The only issue I had was the stopped up tub. When taking a shower, the water exits extremely slow.

The location was convenient. The bathroom needs a little work. But, it was clean.

Nice family hotel. Quiet.

There was also a group of people who decided to have a party outside at 3am blasting music and yelling and no one chose to tell them to be quiet so I slept like crap. Their coffee machines are the wrong type for the crappy hotel coffee pods. They only have one elevator so getting up and down takes forever if people are coming and going with luggage.

The air conditioning did not work. The customer service was terrible
