Best Western Fort Myers Waterfront

Breakfast and water front balcony

The room was large, clean for the most part, the bed was comfortable, there was a desk, a microwave, mini-fridge and a balcony, the water pressure was good in the shower and plenty of hot water. There was a complimentary breakfast with good coffee, muffins, yogurt and sausage (see below for the bad). This place needs a renovation. It's dated. The bathroom is dark, has a janky drop ceiling, no light in the shower area, a pitted chrome sink faucet, and filthy grout on the floor tiles. The front door had enough of a gap under it that sunlight streamed in, meaning critters like geckos and bugs could also come under the worn-out weather strip. Breakfast while free was not the best, the cream cheese was sitting out instead of being refrigerated, the waffle batter created a funky tasting waffle.

Great prices but, the rooms smell old and musty and the carpet always feels and smells musty

This was the worst hotel stay I've ever had. We had a 3-hour drive back home after a long hospital stay. We needed a place to sleep for the night before traveling. When we got to the hotel the room smelled weird. Then when it was time to sleep we noticed that the king mattress folded up in the middle. It seems like they put two twin mattresses together it was the most uncomfortable sleep. The worst part of all is that our door did not lock. Anyone could walk into our room by simply pulling the handle and pushing the door. There was no need for a key and even the deadbolt lock did not work. Needless to say we did not sleep much that night due to being uncomfortable and feeling unsafe. I spoke to the staff in the lobby and the worker told me that he would reach out to the manager and the manager would call me when they got in. I have yet to hear from anyone about my concerns. I have video proof of everything.

Overall the state was excellent property was in very good order did not use all the amenities Minor details that I can live with one being the iron didn't work properly esteemed a hole in the shorts I was trying to press also the elevator door act as if it didn't want to close all the time when mentioned breakfast was served in the restaurant was thinking it was going to be a restaurant breakfast not traditional Continental breakfast but it was food with all that being said I would definitely visit the hotel again because the view was spectacular then born and raised in fort Myers and have moved away for 20 years the p.m. staff when I checked in after 8:00 was very excellent helpful great asset to the company parking was parking considering you're sharing two buildings in a restaurant in a restaurant off site but sharing the same parking lot

The view was great. The complimentary breakfast had nice options. The room was comfortable and spacious.

We liked the hotel. Rooms were clean. They gave us the extra room next to each other. The pool was really good, clean, big and quiet. Clean towels available to use at the pool. Staff was friendly.
