avid hotel Fort Worth Downtown by IHG

Pleasant

Very clean and welcoming hotel and staff.

Exceptional

The staff were excellent and very friendly

Very good

The facility was extremely clean and nice-looking. The proximity to downtown Fort Worth at this price point was absolutely incredible. The front desk and rest of the staff were very kind, professional, and made sure everything was well-run. The room was nice, clean, and looked comfortable, but sleeping was a challenge for a few reasons: 1) The pillows were mushy and not supportive. 2) The smoke alarm blinked on and off all night (I know this means it's on standby, but it was noticeable and if you're a light-sensitive person like I am, it will keep you awake). 3) The air conditioner blinked VERY BRIGHT blue and red into the room all night. We had to put a towel over 1/4 of the vent just to lessen what looked like police lights flashing in the room so we could go to sleep.

Very good

Wonderful staff and stay.

Very clean! Perfect for a quick trip at a great price!

Exceptional

Very good

It was clean and safe Very basic, there was no closet just hooks. The room was small and a little depressing with its jail cell gray walls.

Property was wonderful, rooms were clean, and I felt safe. Just would love a coffee maker in the room.

Exceptional

Location: walking distance from downtown FW and Sundance Square, short Uber (7 min) to stockyards. Room was comfortable and good value for money and free parking! Breakfast selection was decent and coffee available 24/7. We did not use the gym but it looked decent! It was good to be able to use the laundry but very expensive! The indoor pool was pretty cold - it would better if the air con was not turned up so high in the pool room.

Very disappointing experience. We informed the hotel several days in advance that we would shorten our stay by one night, but received no response. The unused night was still charged, with the explanation that Booking.com did not allow the reservation to be shortened. After checking with Booking.com, this turned out to be incorrect. The biggest disappointment was the unprofessional and unfair communication. We expected much more transparency and customer care.

Consistently excellent! Super happy with my second stay there. The hotel is spotless, the breakfast is great, and the staff is friendly. A special shoutout to Maya in housekeeping for making my stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting downtown Fort Worth!

The room was very clean. Parking is free and close to entrance. Breakfast was good with a good selection. Room was quiet and comfortable. Air conditioning was good. I would definitely stay there again.
