Wingate Houston near NRG Park/Medical Center

Love how close it is to the NRG- walking distance, loved that I was able to leave my vehicle there parked- but to exit was absolutely horrible over 2 hours parked to just get to the exit The property is a bit older and reeks of old carpet and smoke. The exit after the game was not organized to get out in a timely manner. The elevator is also so tiny. Swimming pool was absolutely gross

An old hotel . A/ c in the room was good, the bed was also godd and there was plenty of hot water through the shower.

Convenient next to Reliant Stadium

So the room felt like the Shining. No others cars in the parking lot. Gates all around, so inconvenient to get to. Top floor had windows busted out. The room itself & front lobby was nice. The rest was eerie feeling.

Older Hotel. Was OK for one night stay. Very little hot water when I took a shower. Continental breakfast was substandard. Good location if you’re going to the Texans game at reliance Stadium.

I called because I was going to be late due to a flight change out of my control. Was told they would hold my reservation with no issues. I got there and they cancelled my reservation. So I was going to make a new reservation instead when they asked me if it was ok they didn’t have water and didn’t know when it would be back on.

Proximity to stadium No water. Horrible reception on television. No hairdryer.

It’s an older property but well maintained. Staff are super friendly and very helpful Perfect for attending events at Reliant/NRG

The only thing I liked about the property was the location. I didn’t like that I found a pill on the floor so that tells me that the housekeeping didn’t vacuum.

You pull into the property and you think, “ok not too bad!” But GPS says you’re not there yet. There is a separate property connected to the nicer looking front property round back! I wish I was making this up. You go in and the weekend front desk person was rude and constantly rolled her eyes throughout transaction and then you start making your way down the 1970’s style motel/hotel decor with the dimly lit hallways to your room with the dirty ice buckets that you couldn’t use and other dirty objects. What’s worse was the bathroom. There was no water pressure and the water did not get hot! So you had to take a shower with Luke warm water that barely trickled out. Then come to find out on top of that they also charged my card $100 incidental which we knew about and were ok with— but she also charged me an extra $220 charge which even the GM this morning has no idea what the fee was for. This place is terrible.

Was disappointed. The air conditioner sounded horrible and did not work very well
