Idyllwild Inn

We go at least once a year to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We love Gastronome's restaurant for a fine dining experience and we can walk to it from the Idyllwild Inn. Also shopping and The Red Kettle restaurant are within walking distance.

The cabin was perfect for a couple of days, complete with all the basics included in both the bathroom and kitchenette. Having the option of both a fireplace and a gas fireplace was also a great touch. The only tiny thing to note is that a few of the window screens are slightly ripped and could use a little attention, but it was nothing major at all. Overall, a wonderful experience, and we would definitely stay again!

Rustic describes it perfectly, It is a mountain cabin-not brand new-clean and cozy.

Great location where everything is walking distance. Cabins are close together, but still had a sense of privacy. Rooms appear to look larger in photos than in real life, but still a good size space an clean. I would stay again and recommend.

Beautiful Room-Spring Room. Perfect location, walking distance to restaurants & shopping. Everyone in town were lovely.

Make sure your heart is not set on staying at Idyllwild Inn because we showed up and without noticed they told us our reservation was moved to Strawberry Creek their “sister property” which was further away. Not convenient. You should be allowed to book there if they over booked. Ridiculous customer service.

I probably would not stay here again. The cabins are very old and could really use some updating. The property itself is very arid even though you’re in the pines it doesn’t feel that way because there’s not many trees around the cabins. We also had mice inside our cabin and the Front Desk is opened only limited hours. On the upside, they do have very large cabins we were in a three bedroom one bath I like the size did not really love the condition of the appliances in the kitchen or the cooking utilities. The property is also right in town so it’s an easy walk to any shops or restaurants.

Cabin was very clean and cute. Would be awesome in winter and plan to go back!

We loved the rustic and spacious cabin we stayed in. It had a private deck and was well equipped. We will return soon.

Stood in the studio cabin, it was cute and cozy! Perfect for my mother daughter weekend. Lisa in the office was wonderful. Love the view from the back patio and the closeness to everything is perfect! I will definitely be back to the Idyllwild Inn.

Everything was great, the only downside was that my room smelled like mildew making it hard for me to sleep. The morning after we opened the door and windows to air out and it was better.

There were ants in bathroom sink, you could not keep anything by the sink.

Spent 4 nights and 5 days. Absolutely loved it. Didn’t have hot water the first night and someone took my assigned parking spot but overall it was a great stay. Looking forward to staying again on my next vacation.

It was very quiet and calm and we loved the private patio.

We liked the stay at Creekside cottage.
