The breakfast was good but not great. The breakfast area was very clean and comfortable. There was a variety of food options that should please most guests. The coffee was good, and it was freshly made per cup. The biscuits and gravy could have been better, but it was filling. That's really all I didn't like about breakfast, and everything else about the hotel was great. It was a nice stay, and the staff was very friendly.

Overlooking a liquor store and a gas station, this is a fine place if you just need a bed for the evening. Easy in and out and the breakfast was good (but not great). Best aspect of this aging property is its proximity to downtown Kansas City— 7-8 minutes by car.
