No hot water, both ice machines not working, lousy breakfast, bathroom shower dilapidated

In general, this was an out of sate hotel, needs some cleaning and updated paint in the rooms and hallways. The room itself had a distinct smell. Caulking was cracking on the tub and hotel sink area. However, the beds were very comfortable.

Smelling bedsheets

The woman that answered the phone when I called was snippy and just short of being rude! She didn’t like the fact that I booked the room through Expedia. I had reservation made and paid for through the 3rd. She stated that Expedia didn’t send enough for payment to the 3rd so said he would have to check out on the 2nd. Then the $100 deposit was paid on chime. It is now 7 days later and still haven’t received anything.

Stayed for 3 days and when they service the room simply remade the bed but didn't change the sheets. Also dust bunnies in primary area and bits of mold in the bathroom

As I said in previous review, the staff wasn't very friendly. Roaches and a mouse in the room. It was the dirtiest hotel I've ever seen and I requested my money back. Couldn't find anyone to report it to and no one will answer the phone.

91 degrees in room when checked in at 830 asked to be switched to another room and was told no. Rooms nasty. Pool was “out of order” reached out to management and received no response. Save your money book somewhere else

This hotel is very outdated and simply not very clean. The room I booked smelled like raw sewage upon arrival to the room. We arrived late at night after a very long drive and was exhausted. There was only one front desk clerk at the time and there was a very long check-in wait time. Also an unexpected deposit of $100 upon check-in for incidentals which I know isn't unusual but you also expect a certain standard when this is charged. They did not meet that standard. When we got to the room and we immediately noticed the smell, I was afraid to set on the furniture or take my shoes off. I called down the front desk to report the problem and she said she was completely book and didn't have another room to offer but that she would be up as soon as possible to investigate the smell. Once she arrived she could smell it as well but had no idea where the smell could be coming from and stated that she would put a work order in for maintenance to check it out the following day. Magically, she was able to find another room for us to stay in. The second room was cleaner and didn't have an odor thankfully. Our other family members that booked an additional room also had a very outdated, dirty feeling room. Will not book here ever again and definitely would not recommend.

the pool was not in working condition.

The room itself was clean and nice. The staff we encountered were great. We just had some issues...This was the first night my wife and I were able to get away from home in almost a year. One of our top things we looked forward to at the hotel was to utilize the swimming pool. I even called the day before our stay to check on the pool hours. They failed to tell me that the pool was out of service. We arrived and we couldn't check in for about 45 minutes past the time because the rooms were not ready. We were going to swim while waiting and found out the pool was green. We left for the evening and upon returning back, the only ice machine in service we were told was on the 3rd floor and it was empty. We had to leave to buy ice and upon our return there was a bug in the ice bucket in the room. We ended up checking out at approximately 2:00 a.m. and returned home. I have disputed the charges for the night.

There's a Waffle House next door, a gas station with a convenience store right next to that, a cannabis store across the street, a liquor store with a cannabis and cigar shop right behind that, two Mexican restaurants on the block, and an Appleby's nearby. It's also easy for rideshare and delivery drivers to find. There's also a Knoxville Area Transit route about two blocks away on Central Ave. and Knoxville's transit system is very useful, which matters to me. I never had the breakfast in the lobby, I'm not fit for being in public that early, but there was a coffee maker, a microwave, and a mini fridge. The Wi-Fi was sometimes iffy but generally worked okay. Not bad at all. I don't regret it a bit.

I wasn't expecting anything more than what I paid for, but if I had a complaint it would be, I don't like the third party vendor, meaning if something goes wrong with the washing machine it's not their direct problem work order.. other than that what you are is what you get ??
