Royal Lahaina Resort & Bungalows

The morning yoga class was amazing, with a wonderful instructor who made the experience really enjoyable. I also loved the live music every evening. It added such a nice touch to the atmosphere. The only small negative was the check in and check out experience at the front desk. One of the staff members didn’t seem particularly enthusiastic about her job, which felt a little different from the otherwise warm and welcoming service throughout the hotel. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and especially appreciated the beautiful atmosphere, yoga, live music, and excellent service from most of the staff.

Incredible experience! I had to move here from the Aston Maui next-door. They do have generators if there’s a power outage and the staff is extremely helpful. Beautiful amenities!Highly recommended.

The staff were wonderful and treated my mom and I like family. Even during the power outage, the staff, as overworked as they were, maintained a positive and cheerful attitude. The setting for the resort along Kaanapali beach is beautiful. Our view from our balcony was incredible. We could watch the beautiful sunsets right from our room. Wished there was room service and that there was a jacuzzi/hot tub.

Staff was not friendly, nor courteous. The power was out for over 30 hours and we could not get a clear answer as to when it was going to be back on.

The resort was so beautiful and had all the amenities you could need for a great stay. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Definitely will be back.

The lamps had mold in the shades. The rooms look like they need an update. The rugs are dirty and stained. The food was not good at restaurant in the hotel. The pool was ice cold. No jacuzzi. No close parking available.

I liked this resort overall but some things were annoying. For example, I like my room cleaned every day, not every other day. We ran out of coffee, napkins, soap, etc in the day that they weren't cleaning and had to ask for this and that a bunch of times.

The fridge in the bathroom is just weird and why? The buffet had the same items daily which got old after a weeks stay. Housekeeping cleaned the rooms but left dirty cups. wondering what else was not changed? The charges for umbrellas and chairs is really outrageous! We will definitely rent and spot next time and save a ton of money.

The rooms were very clean the only place I saw that really needed attention was in main dining room. The door from outside into the lobby was filthy dirty and it continued to be that way during the whole day so I don’t think anybody realizes they need to clean that door. Spray it and wipe it off the rooms were clean the Smashburger was good. The other food that we had was so so on the first night the waiter the first night was it was impatient with us, which I thought was odd.

I do not like the hidden fees that come with staying at the hotel. It’s a beautiful place but these places leave a bad taste with all the ad on fees. This place is not unique to the problem. It’s all over the island.

Beautiful clean swimming beach and the staff is super friendly.
