Check-in was great. The young man who helped us was so kind and helpful. We were exhausted after traveling all day and just wanted to rest. When we got to our room the air conditioner was on and very loud but I was too tired to go and ask for a different room so we ended up sleeping hot so the noise wouldn't keep us awake. The next day when I brought it up to the woman at the front desk she told me I should have said something so they could change our room and I told her that that wasn't the problem and I just wanted to make them aware of the situation and she was still quite rude about the whole thing. When we had breakfast the server did not come around for at least 15 minutes and when he did come around he apologized but said he was on the phone which I thought was unprofessional. The breakfast is definitely not worth the money and I would not pay that again. If the gentleman at check-in would not have been there I would have given a one star for service.

Breakfast wasn’t included. They wanted another 30 for that after paying over $500 for one night Price per value was not correct

Houston Cougar Football team stayed Thursday night and didn’t check out until 4 pm. We couldn’t check into our rooms until 7 pm on Friday. Huge inconvenience. Staff didn’t seem to care. 😢

There was a pool in the add. The main reason we chose this hotel was the nice pool, however they have NOT had a pool in a few years. We would have chosen another place had we known that there was no poo.

No Pool - You have to pay for breakfast

Hotel management did not allow my family to check into the hotel until after 7. Arrived in Lubbock after 4 hours of travel at around 3pm ready to check in, drop off luggage, rest and prepare for a game at 7pm. Made it extremely inconvenient for all travelers checking in. Told us we had to wait until 7 to check in when they knew damn well that we couldn’t because the TX Tech game we were in Lubbock for started at 7. They knew everyone who paid to stay there was there for the 7pm game. It sucked. Had to leave our luggage in the car with all our valuables until 1130 that night when the game was over. Making it worse is everyone that had to wait until after 7 were all there at the same time so we had about 10-12 people checking in at midnight because management thought it was a bright idea to make us check-in later. We didn’t get to use the room until after midnight but paid for a full day… we were only allowed to use the room to sleep. Really poor decision making by management. They knew all the visitors that weekend were coming from hours away to visit their kids at school and watch a football game. There was no thought or compassion for what impact it would have on parents or visitors. Really think this should have been handled better without a doubt. And the staff that greeted us with that information were really indifferent to our feelings and how it affected our stay. A female host we encountered who was tattooed all over was extremely unprofessional and rude.

Even the pillows were extremely old and provided very little support—they clearly need to be replaced. Overall, the property needs better maintenance and upgrades. Please work on maintaining the quality and standards expected from a Hilton property. The Hilton name alone isn’t enough; guests should receive a quality stay that matches the prices being charged.
