Hampton Inn & Suites Mansfield

I had a clogged toilet, the front desk brought me the plunger and told me I could plunge it and then when I’m done I could just leave it in my room. I’m a paying customer I should never do that or keep that nasty thing in my room. Maybe do preventative maintenance to make sure all toilets are working functionally!!!!!

Several minor issues with the room -- TV remote not working properly, thermostat not adjustable and bathtub very slow to drain. Front office is very friendly.

When booking this room I make sure they had baby beds available the booking showed they have them available so we ultimately picked this property even called and verified. Upon arriving the man at the front desk tells us they don’t have baby beds. So we did not pack a bed for our 10 month old we had with us and had no safe space for her to sleep in.

Was a great stay.

Staff was Great and Accommodating ! Pretty clean room overall. One of the shower gel soap bottles was off the wall, but fine. Carpet could probably use a steam clean in the near future, but fine as well. Temperature of room was accurate and control accessible that worked fine. I can get more nitpicky on the tiny details, but overall great stay and comfortable for what you need ! In all honesty 4.799

Convenient, clean and exceptionally friendly staff

Our first experience before was excellent in metaire but recently I am disappointed because before we enter the room it smells like urine odor because we are so tired from travel no chance to change the room and we stayed only for nights to sleep but everything was good except that issue hope it will be solve.

Bathroom sink and vanity is too tall.

The hotel room we had was dirty. The shower had shampoo and hair in it, the floor had food crumbs and actual trash in a few places, the room smelled strange (like a dead animal) and the front desk guy was being strange toward my friend wanting her to guess his age and took atleast 5 mins to even get her the card.

The pool and the breakfast and the staff. The room was filthy. Hair everywhere human and dog! I had to ask for a broom to clean it myself and was given an old nasty scrub brush with a dust pan and didn’t work. I ended up using tissue to gather the hair and remove the best I could. Then the pool was closed when we checked I. For maintenance and when I asked they said hours for it to open. I spoke with someone the next afternoon and he said he told them the day earlier that it was ready at 4 then but then non one removed the signs or allowed guests to use it until well after 24 hours later. Room smelled like wet dirty dog and never got better for the 3 days we were there.

The located was excellent I could have not ask for better. Eatting restaurant and shopping was within 3 minutes drive. The breakfast there was really good and the cook was very nice and helpful. The property itself needed a little more undated. When I first got there my room smelled like pet urine and I went to the front attendant and he was not helpful he gave me some 72 hrs dove deodorant and told me to spray and come back in the morning to see if I could get my room change. Thankfully I was able to get another room but that room also had a pet urine smell and the air conditioner would not get cold enough. It was just a bad experience from previous Hampton Inn I have stayed in this one was the worst. The price was a little step for the accommodation I experience. But I am not giving up on Hampton Inn because it's one of my favorite hotels to stay in with my family and very spacious .

i call around 1645 on 8/20/2026 and got the desk receptionist. his demeanor and attitude showed like he didnt care. i was calling for something i misplaced. kept telling me to call back tomorrow and hung up on me. Most of the personal i interactive with was totally professional and kind.

Breakfast was amazing Room had an awful smell and front desk rep didn’t communicate that card on file was not working and house keeping didn’t ask if we needed fresh towels.

When we returned to our room, we did not receive any house keeping service. When we complained to the front desk we we informed that house keeping service is only provided every other day, unless we requested otherwise. However, we were not informed of such policy so we could request it. This hotel failed us and did not meet our expectations. Hampton failed in keeping it's "100% Satisfaction Guarantee" promise. When I brought up the "100% Satisfaction Guarantee" hanging right in front of the counter, I pretty much just received lip service.

The staff was excellent and very kind

It smells like glue in the whole building. The hallways are hot and it doesn’t feel like they have the ac on. The breakfast was nasty, had no flavor even the coffee was just hot water.
